Im gonna tell you a sad story but even if you did, you have to ask the question « who they listen to your help? » Seeing the sign is not enough and even then helping someone isnt enough. Its if you both work together that you can help them not you that can force your help onto them. From experience thats how it work, helping them with little thing : homework, having lunch with them, seeing each other after school . It helps only if the other wants help. But bygones be bygones if someone refuse the help then unfortunetly there is nothing you can do, you ´ll end up frustrated only pushing the other to their limits it leads to frustration and resentement And sometime they were not the best person for you, sometime you need to let go to. Thats life, take the time you need to grieve as much as you want i wish you good luck with your feelings
