As a local it really suck seeing Selinsgrove in distress, no matter the issue. I've been going there for years And was looking for a promising season and future. Hopefully, things can get turned around. It really is a good track. Maybe the previous promoters we're in distress when Stephanie took over the promotional team. And now she has to clean up the mess and not to mention dealing with health issues from a car accident. It's just a sad situation all around 😢

Selling Grove will be in trouble. I was there in early 2000s and the drivers refused to race on the track because they dug the dirt up from the infield and stuck it on the track. What a dust bowl nice place somebody could get their hands on it.

hmm thats a little shocking a famed sprintcar track in pennsy having trouble racing is very popular there its like loving non wing and going to a track in southwestern indiana that has the class just about every week, you see it almost as often as running and errand though the scene has struggled a bit since the pandemic, i mean I bet selinsgrove as a name is thrown around in conversations in racing as the burg, kokomo, and haubstadt are in indiana, hope they can sort it out, at least the track isn't yet at threat of being torn down, even if its in financial trouble though hard to have shows if no one will come to the track on a major level

It’s sorta a downward spiral, the drivers don’t show up cause they don’t get paid, pa fans aren’t going to go to a 410 race that only 14 cars show up to, it’s a mess. Also they have like 30 minute intermissions for no reason and pa people can’t stand that nonsense.

Yes Michigan dirt tracks are hurting Winston is closed I-96 runs a very limited schedule but on the other hand there's one pavement track doing very good Owosso Speedway the promoter has the right ideas for the track at the right time

Same for Hartford. The owners are amazing but can only do so much. I think it's more the state of the sport currently. I don't know why they don't use these facilities way more often for other stuff to generate $$

@@caidenshafer6951 ran Hartford a lot when it was a big half mile there was a guy named Mark promoting it built his own power plant so he didn't have to pay for electricity it'd be nice All Star Lane Automotive would promote a couple well-paying shows down there well they used to bring in the Summer Nationals down there

I've went there since the mid 90s. Your name sound familiar too. We race go karts now. Both kids do but even that is a few hours haul for a race

And i wish WRG would get their heads out of their asses and get over the fact that port royal has high limit on the schedule, and run at port royal. Hate to say it, but Selinsgrove has had troubles for a long time. Like 20+ years long. You always hate to see a track go away, but there are so many other better options around PA.

Selinsgrove's issue is HORRRRIBLE Promoting. They should be running weekly Super Lates and mix Modifieds and Sprints in. Theres just too many PA tracks for days of the week to run 410s

We've got major problems brewing at 2 tracks here in Michigan as well. Merritt and Tri City are both owned by Mike Blackmer. Over the last handful of years he has burned so many bridges with local racers, and treated so many fans poorly that people aren't coming anymore. Now he is regularly bouncing checks to drivers. All the while posting facebook videos weekly that are filled with negativity. Maybe if we are lucky someone will contact him about purchasing the tracks or we will likely lose 2 of the best tracks around.

I Hope that for Selinsgrove is just the promotor having emergency surgery and be back for next year. I do hear the rumors. While I don't know if rumors are true, the rumors (even if it made up) are usually started by some bored Keyboard Warrior trying the stir the pot. Hopefully all is good, and Selinsgrove can operate like normal in 2025, since it is always an underappreciated track.

How many High Limit go To Woo and How many Woo go to High limit? Either way Woo makes the rules because they have 3 crown jewel events and without those crown jewels Woo would lose there stronghold on making rules and High Limit could go with a different tire company and wicker bills/dished wings the works but Woo has those 3 crown jewels so were stuck with two series that run everything the exact same boring way.I think the Kings Royal is soon going back to a USA race with no sanctioning body attached like the World 100 and the Dream so Woo will lose there foothold on Eldora and count it against there drivers to go and compete in it. The "lets race two" event with Woo and usac is going away in favor of High Limit and Usac being on 1 broadcast at the same time which will make more sense on Flo,I dont think Tony likes Woo very much cause why has he cut Woo out of 4 races they usually have at Eldora in 2024, silly season this offseason will keep you busy Justin not just with driver changes and swaps or what not but also the Flo and dirtvision battles for dirt tracks and cutting each series off from running those tracks. Gloves are off now cause High limit didnt fall on its ass like Woo thought it would so us the fans will ultimately be left with two lesser products then what 1 could be over GREED and politics

All-Stars wasn’t a national series. The All-Stars stuck predominantly around the Ohio/WV/VA//MD/IA/Pa region. They had a few other outlying places they went but predominantly that was it. High Limit is a true national series like the outlaws. Now the caliper of one series vs the other can be debated but both are certainly national series.
