Funfact, when fighting the Giant Cakti Boss (The "Drill Tank VS"), it is recommended to aim right under it with explosive Ordinance when in VS Mode or right between the rear treads. Why? Because that long pillar you see sticking out under it in VS mode with the Squarish knob at the end of it, is it's weakspot. Attacks deal _massive_ damage to the VS when it is hit there, which is why when you were using Grenades or Panic-shooting with rockets, you were able to deal damage to the giant cakti, as you were hitting that little knob. In fact, good players have found that all you need to do to destroy it, is to Pack a Sniper rifle, and simply aim for the knob, _without_ bringing a VS. Some have even One-Shotted the Big Boss that way. By the way, that same weakness is present in the Standard version of the Cakti. You don't even have to waste ammo blasting futilely away at the armor, just aim for the knob and blast away. Of course, if you stink at using Snipers, just aim for that knob with explosive ordinance, such as rockets, missiles, grenades or plasma... As long as it deals splash damage and hits the knob, you still deal pain to the enemy.

I'm loving this game - I know I played it when it came out but damn, that boss at 32- WOULD NEVER HAVE REMEMBERED YOU HAVE TO GO INTO THE HOLE! I think the game speaks to older less hand held mission design, still, I think they could've thrown in a clue somewhere to go into the hole. Maybe I missed it.

Actually, the Cakti (the "4-legged VS") has a weakness on the undercarriage, which exists even in Tank Mode. It's a Bulb that if you were to shoot it with say, a Sniper rifle or Charged Laser gun, you can One-Shot the smaller Cakti, while on the Boss, it deals MASSIVE Damage. In VS mode, the weak spot is at the leg-base (Obvious at 21:05, the Bulb is on the long shaft protruding beneath the VS.). While in Tank Mode, it can be attacked from behind. If you're fighting it in a VS, use a Rocket launcher or the EM Laser... And actually _TRY_ to get behind it, rather than doing it like the Guy in the Video where he literally leads the Boss Cakti into walls where it can protect itself in tank mode, and AVOID aiming for the Head unit or the Legs! Those are the MOST armored parts of the Cakti!
