Oh man this is so obscure. Coincidently I was playing ‘I have no Mouth and I must scream’ today Man, those puzzles! How did we survive back in the day? Think about all the time we lost on figuring out these puzzles. I remember as a kid going back and forth to the bookstore, memorizing solutions for Myst. Some games I played took YEARS to solve!

I was going to write that I've already seen you do this, before most other people. Then I read your description and see you re-released this video. Still a good watch. I so wish there was more to the Uninvited than there is. Such a good game and so short. You probably already know this but they are making a sequel to Shadowgate. They're taking the TG16 version and remaking it like the NES version.

I absolutely love stuff like this. Uncovering secrets and easter eggs in old games, many years after their release just makes me all warm and fuzzy. Shame about the nes version, I was hoping there would be a way to enter the secret room in that one too. Well, maybe there is...? Anyways, great video dude.

Uninvited was how I found your channel quite a while ago. I was trying to find some old Mac games that I was trying to remember on KZbin. Loved the original video you did for Uninvited, and the secret portal video. I'm glad we can all get a little more out of this game, and another video out of it too! TEAM MAROO!

I love that almost 30 years later, you discovered a new secret in a game!

I love your narrative! You just got another follower. I still play loads of 68K games on my old Macs. So much fun. 👍

Is it really 5 years old already? Damn To think about it, at this point I'm subscribed to your channel for half of its history. Crazy

I poked around at memory addresses in the NES version of Uninvited, and while I found graphics for the door you were trying to open in the magisterium as being opened, the entire artist gallery room doesn't seem to exist. If you're familiar with RAM editing, the address $0501 controls what art is loaded per screen, you can edit and freeze the value in an emulator to force different room artwork to display when you leave/reload a room. Setting that address' value to $51 shows the inside of the magisterium with the art gallery door open. I've checked the American version, the uncensored Japanese version, and earliest dumped US prototype of the game and none of them have the graphics for the actual artist gallery, so I'm pretty sure getting access to that room is completely impossible.

Gruz, thank you for recovering this old vid! this is a weird request, but, can you add this vid to your Classic Mac Games Episodes playlist? I archive all of your videos by playlist, had the unlisted version added manually, and would love to have this version in the playlist I monitor!

This is brilliant. Classic game Easter eggs. How did they expect anyone to ever find these?! How are you recording the screen from your vintage Mac?

Just recorded an emulator for this one 👍

My legit first reaction: "Wait, Killgruz actually did videos that weren't about Giana Sisters or Super Mario Bros?" Those times you discover something new about a youtuber you watched before (if only briefly)
