About the Holderness Family
The Holderness Family creates original music, parodies, and Vlogs for KZbin to poke fun of themselves and celebrate the absurdity in circumstances most families face in their day to day life. They published "Christmas Jammies" in December 2013 and life hasn't been the same. Since then, their popular parodies, "All About That Baste", "Baby Got Class," and original music "Snow Day" have received national news coverage. Penn, the Dad, took a chance and left his job as a news anchor to join his wife Kim, the Mom, at their video production and digital marketing company, Greenroom Communications, LLC. Lola and Penn Charles are always happy, respectful and eat all of their vegetables (that last sentence is a lie). Penn, Kim, Lola, and Penn Charles publish music videos, Vlogs and special KZbin challenges to this channel every SINGLE DAY.

My hubby uses socks filled with rice as heating pads for sore muscles when he sleeps so Penn gets my vote! I use socks as dusting mittens for my window blinds. So many uses for single socks but what about wire clothes hangers?!

Super cute video!! I think it was a tie since I liked something that both of you presented. I like the Cellphone Holder idea and I liked the Ear Warmer idea! LOL all in all great fun and way to recycle. My grandmother would cut old socks and put them on her arm when she was driving so that one doesn't get more sun lol....

Here in Minne-snow-ta we cut the tops off of old gym socks; the kind with the wide elastic band, and put them on your wrists to cover that gap between your sleeve and your mittens. I also have a sock with rice in it to heat and use to warm a spot on my diabetic dog before doing a blood draw to check her glucose so she bleeds better. :D

Penn, because the only idea presented that I would implement is the rice & essential oil in the sock in the microwave (but I would wash that sock 2 or 3 times before filling it with rice). I think a better use is to use the ones that fit the dry-mop as duster clothes.Or stuff several in the toe of one, toss in some catnip and tie it closed - you now have a cat toy for the cat (or with no catnip and it's a wrestling toy for the dog).

I hand them out to homeless guys when I bring them soup and old pillows and other things that make living on the streets easier for them. Socks are a #1 request in shelters, and they don't care if they don't match. If you wear dirty socks too long you can get serious infections on your feet. And they are on their feet walking much more than the rest of us.

OMG! Thanks for the major laugh 😂😄😆 Love how you both had different themes. Kim, you are rocking that outfit, and Penn's hair actually does look pretty good! Penn, the armband idea was smart! But the laugh out loud moment was the revolting smell of Penn's softball relaxation sock!!! I have a husband with stinky feet and if he put vanilla bath salts in one and then warmed it up I would die!! 🤢 Definitely a tie! Thanks for keeping us laughing in these trying times! Another way you could have used a lonely sock for is to cut off the tip of the sock. Roll it up and then it is a bun maker thingy for your plain old ponytail. PLEASE TRY. IT WORKS!:)
