Quiet, I beg you, read this one! I'm not spoiling anything- I've just finished it and I think you have jumped the gun on this one. I was not too excited after reading the preview but it really kicks up. There's more in this 1 book then the last 3 of VOS. It actually brings up some deeper tones of adult concepts. The whole book has a dark and ominous tone to it that you would not get from the preview AT ALL. Seriously I implore you to read this one- if nothing else then to make another awesome rant of yours!

@@MahkRonAKash The cats rarely even make it to the Elder's den. So many cats are killed in sooo many ways. I think it was Blixemi that made a Warrior's Dumb Ways to Die parody, but she missed quite a few due to the time limit of that song. Main characters tend to have a bit of immunity on the Dartboard of Death, but they aren't removed entirely. But you know what? I'm of the theory that Leafpool had to die for the current plot. Or it could be a coincidence that the Moonpool is so muffled after her death. I don't buy that it's just because the Moonpool is frozen over.

I read the book right after it came out today and I really really liked it. Shadowpaw is honestly really sweet and a good protagonist. And I can’t really understand your hatred against Rootpaw. He might be a bit blend in the beginning but becomes more interesting and relatable. His biggest issue is his temper and maybe I like him because of that. I know something is stupid but I can’t help myself and do it anyway. And he has the same problem. Personally, I like that. But yeah, everyone has their own opinion xD Aaaand I like that Lost Stars finally has some really interesting and freakin high stakes. But all power to you ^^ Love your Videos

One of three Goddesses along with Sandstorm, already killed off ridiculously stupidly for practically a tank of a viking mother. And Squirrelflight, my absolute Goddess. [CI]Squirrelflight BETTER become leader. That's the Erin's ONLY redemption. [CI]You do NOT kill off an extreme protagonist character offscreen. ABSOLUTELY NOT. And I swear... If Squirrelflight just mourns and gets sad and moves on, I will be PISSED. [CI]Squirrelflight and Leafpool were blood bound. Connected by mind and soul. They are literally half of each other. Two extremely developed sisters who were raised side by side at the chest of their unbelievably deathly amazing mother. Two sisters sworn to defend each other through ALL perils. My profile is decorated with mentions of her including the tag "Squirrelflight Guard" I defend her, Leafpool, and Sandstorm like a hulking knight. I can obliterate almost any negativity to any of them and destroy arguments. That Goddess Trio is just simply the greatest family in Creation itself. I worshipped Leafpool. When I first saw the post: "I heard Leafpool died, so I made art" I went mad. Frantically searching for proof. More mosts appeared, saying it was between books. Every one of them. I lost my mind. I felt it... I pictured the Warriors world with her corpse in a grave and I was ready to punch through a wall. I am still pissed weeks after finding out.

I think it would be very interesting for Squirrelflight to not recover from Leafpool’s death. Maybe go a little insane. Combined with Bramblestar’s possible rabies case, it would be very interesting to see the leader and deputy of a Clan to be mentally unstable.

I would've even loved to break lore and just give her and Squirrelflight 9 lives. And resurrect Sandstorm since they apparently have no problem resurrecting cats. (Tigerheart) If it's not mentioned in full detail in Squirrelflight's Hope and Squirrelflight isn't enraged, or if the Erin's think they can kill off a 3 time major protagonist offscreen, I would wish someone put a damn bullet in them. (Probably not, but I'm actually pissed. I love Warriors. But never has it broke my Iron Will. I don't get sad over deaths, Emotional over drama, I got pissed and enraged at this news. THAT broke it. And I swear if they kill Squirrelflight, I'll throw those damn books out the window.

Bramblestar doesn't get rabies but some mysterious disease probably caused by StarClan because they are angry at the codebreakers and is one of their punishments which put him into a coma and StarClan said to Shadowpaw that the cure is to put Bramblestar out in freezing cold and he died. Now because StarClan's connection is weaker than usual, like bad internet, it took a while for Bramblestar to get on his next life which he finally stirred just as the elders are ready to take him out for burial. I don't find him suspicious until the very end. Bramblestar doesn't get rabies but rather "StarClan Salt Syndrone" as I call it or SCSS (not actually called that but I just wanted to name a random disease myself).

Presumably sent from StarClan as their first punishment to the codebreakers as the voice says in that one Shadowpaw chapter.

Shoving aside a genuinely interesting character because you don't like their parents together is the most petty and immature thing you can do as a reader of these books. Get over it, your hating isn't gonna change anything. People have been complaining about Lost Stars and how they killed Leafpool in between books even though they're saving it for Squirrelflights Hope because that's probably what a majority of the book revolves around so no kidding it would be in between books. I find it annoying how people jump on the bandwagon of 'The Erins aren't putting in effort, there's so many plotholes and a lack of effort!'. Yeah, lets ignore the several plotholes that existed in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th series, and the fact that Vision of Shadows is arguably the best written arc since the 1st.

EDIT: I think Leafpool was killed off because she doesn’t have a purpose anymore. Her sons forgive her, crowfeather moved on, and she is now just another medicine cat. I have to disagree with you on the protagonists of this book. However I understand your foreboding. Rootpaws story arch is about the dangers of blind faith as a follower and his frustrations with his father is because Tree does not conform to whats expected of clan life or religious conformity. Bristlepaws storyline is life isnt what you expect and that becoming a wife or a warrior doesn't solve all her problems. In fact in her case it makes it worse. Shadowpaw started out with not fitting in place but is actually another allegory for faith but from the side of religious leadership and its danger as blind faith and consequence for misinterpretation. (Im not too sure where it will go concidering the not conventional ending of the lost stars.) As an atheist I am hesitant but interested in where the story will go its a better first book then the Apprentices Quest 1 vos. In the warriors universe one cant not believe in starclan as they are a physical phenomenon that can be repeated and tested proving them to be real.(Unlike real life) So I do enjoy the fact tree and mothwing both make mention that starclan or any spiritual being may not have benevolent intentions. This series could be good or awful in a special way and I intend to find out.

Spoilers! Just finished Lost Stars and I’m pretty sure Leafpool’s death is a huge part of Squirrelflight’s Hope. During Lost Stars, they say what happened. Leafpool and Squirrelflight were in a rockslide before Lost Stars took place. Leafpool dies from the rock slide, and Squirrelflight is severely injured herself, and even spends some time in Starclan while her physical body heals. They make it seem like kind of a deal in Lost Stars, so I’m sure it’ll be a major part of Squirrelflight’s Hope. Edit: And ahhhhhh! I beg you, read this book! This book is a lot better than the preview makes it out to be! I could go on and on about the things I like!

I’m sorry about being a little rude here but i think you kind of don’t give enough credit towards the new series, it has some good points to it too as much as it has bad. I think you’re kind being a bit unfair here, but i think it’s just a little bias to look at the thin layer above the story rather than the deeper meaning below. Your content is great! And i mean no hate towards you, just that maybe you could address not only the things you don’t like but also the you do like. I understand that there are aspects of the books you dislike, but maybe rather than just focusing on the bad maybe you could see the good? I notice you have a tendency to throw in your own bias towards characters. Like when you addressed having Tigerheartstar as leader you expressed very much how you disliked him and spoke about how you would not continue to expand on warriors if the story continued with this path. I didn’t love Lost Stars, but i did enjoy the book. It had quite a lot weak points as much as it did strong. True Shadowpaw was an odd fit as a main character but i think hes better than a lot of other mains we’ve had (for example; brambleclaw, leafpool, lionblaze). His character is kind bland I’ll admit but its interesting to see how a kid deals with the pressure of prophecies weighed on him whether their true or not. Again i mean no hate towards you or your content i enjoy it a lot, i just think that your a little unfair towards the books and new style of writing that books are going for. Btw, i luv ur rants their very facts based and supported.

The leafpool part I partly agree is nuts. SPOILERS. its revealed later in the books that in was a rockslide accident that kills her squirrelflight also was nearly killed. The book explains that squirelflight wandered starclan for a time while she was injured and comatose. She came back for bramblestar. Thats squirrelflights super edition thus far. Also there was a a throw away line that tawnypelt and shadowpaw went to the tribes to help with his seizures so maybe its connected with squirrels super edition.

I'm a big fan of Shadowpaw, growing up with severe and uncontrolled epilepsy I never saw a character with my issues portrayed in ANY kind of media. The closest thing to something I can think of was Petalfall. Warriors has not only a bind cat, a paralyzed cat and now a deaf cat it feels like its time for them to acknowledge epilepsy and they have.

I read Lost Stars and Path Of A Warrior yesterday so of you haven't read it or don't want to hear me talk about it then I recommend not reading this comment! Okay so first I LOVE Rootpaw and Brindlefrost!!! Shadowpaw is alright but his chapters were kinda bland. Okay so at the end of Lost Stars Rootpaw runs from something he thinks is Bramblestar. And as he runs back to his camp it says " Wait! You have to help me! Please! " My theory is the thing Shadowpaw was talking to at the Moonpool is not a StarClan cat but a Dark Forest one or a vengeful ghost thing like Needletail , Beenose or Dawnpelt in Vision Of Shadows. But anyway I think it told Shadowpaw to lay the sick Bramblestar in the snow cave so Bramblestar would die , lose a life , go to StarClan and not be able to come back to ThunderClan because of the Lost connection with StarClan , and since her mate is dead Squirrelflight , the Deputy , would be grieving leaving ThunderClan weak. But anyway I think the " StarClan cat " possessed Bramblestar' s body and that's why he Is acting rude and weird. And the ghost wants vengeance or something on a cat or the Clans. And the reason the Bramblestar Rootpaw saw at the end of the book was transparent is because maybe Bramble never got to StarClan when he died and he became a ghost thing like some of the Lost ShadowClan cats in AVOS and only Rootpaw can see him because he inherited his father ,Tree's power of being able to see and speak to dead cats who have not gone to StarClan yet. And ghost Bramblestar called out to Rootpaw for help because he knows Rootpaw is the only one who can see him? Idk I hope Bramblestar isn't actually dead or anything This is just a theory Also I ship Brindle x Root Brindle x Stem must die And R.I.P Leafpool Thanks for listening to my useless rambling!😄

Most Shadowpaw chapters is him going to the moonpool that is frozen from the cold all the way to the bottom and the water fall is also completely frozen. Rootpaw chapters is just well Rootpaw chapters. Bristlepaw/frost chapters is just her in ThunderClan, I just see her chapters to see how ThunderClan is going which is going normally until Bramblestar got suddenly sick (its not rabies if your wandering, rather just StarClan is angry at the codebreakers and they decided to punish the clans and their first punishment is on Bramblestar, about right at the end, Tree wanted to go to SkyClan's old gorge with his family though his family wanted to stay. When Rootpaw left into a forest. A dark brown figure came up to him. It was Bramblestar but Bramblestar is alive on his second life (he died in his coma). That Bramblestar figure creeped out Rootpaw enough for him to run away and as he ran away, the figure pleaded for help and the book ended so suddenly. If thats the strange apparition The Silent Thaw description mentions about, then ok. But I am suspicious that a different dark evil spirit had went into Bramblestar's body before he himself could which could explain the strange behavior The Silent Thaw description speaks of. I believe that a strange evil spirit had stolen Bramblestar's body and the real Bramblestar is that figure, though I could be wrong but thats what I think of. The cat I am most suspicious of is a voice Shadowpaw heard who said about Bramblestar getting sick. Could that very voice be the one who got Bramblestar sick and dead to get his body? I am not sure but I am suspicious.

Never thought I’d see my name in a video. Anyways, I think Leafpool’s being held in reserve for Squirrelflight’s Hope, which would make sense since she was so important to her. This may make me sound like a psycho, but I kinda want Sleekwhisker to have killed Leafpool (maybe she’s trying to protect Alderheart or Twigbranch) and Squirrelflight just goes off on her. Also, happy to say Twigbranch did not have kits yet so she and Finleap are still working out things from Raging Storm

If they reveal that Leafpool died from greencough, I will fall off of a cliff. Greencough is basically the "silent killer" of the series and too many characters died from it that I can't even name them all. I would hope that her death is shown in Squirrelflight's Hope, and that Lionblaze and Jayfeather forgive her and Squirrelflight for trying to solve the "Leafpool having kits" problem.

So far from what I’ve seen is that Shadowpaw might be receiving messages from the dark forest. This is really interesting considering this is the first time we might see a dark medicine cat. And it’s also nice because Shadowpaw wasn’t forced into the spot of medicine cat like countless others. (Goosefeather, Alderheart, Jayfeather, Puddleshine, etc.) Also another reason you should read it is because the Bramblestar shit is waaaay more dramatic than you’d think. I seriously feel like you’re jumping the gun on this one. Also the hill I will die on is that Rootpaw is my fav protag. I’ve always loved the angry assholes in this series.

I wish that Leafpool would've died, but in her sleep onscreen. Then Alderheart comes to wake her up, and realizes- she's gone. Then a cat (most likely Bramblestar) comes and says that Squirrelflight isn't moving. She's dead, also. I wanted this to happen because of their link (only established in the new prophecy) that helped them communicate long distances.

Leafyyay we knew what it was like for when Mistystar became leader and then it stop. That the only story in the lake territory that we got. Mistystar omen. I want to know how they dealt with their traitors who trained in the dark forest. We got every other clan view but Riverclan. Dovewing silence dealt with ThunderClan. Crowfeather trial dealt with windclan. Vision of shadows and Tigerheart shadow dealt with shadowclan. But not a thing about Riverclan. Even their treatment in visions of shadows was bad. Nothing til Darktail attacked and then close borders. Seem to me like the writers just don’t know what to do with Riverclan anymore. Even now it seem like we going to get a main character in every clan except Riverclan. Shadowpaw for shadowclan. Rootpaw for skyclan. Don’t know about ThunderClan cuz I just read the preview. But I’m sure one character is from that clan. Other ones left is windclan and Riverclan. Get not wanting to do windclan cuz we just had a super edition from that clan.

Btw, the immature bully-themed dialogue sounds like a typical series of events of a bully story from a fanfiction, and it can get very boring or needlessly anger-inducing. At least Shrew from Tallstar's Revenge had a soul and kinda toned down over time. I guess the writers didn't know what to do with Leafpool anymore, so they killed her off, but I'm still waiting for Greystripe to die.

Even tho I’m a “young reader” my favorite scenes are the battle scenes and death scenes. I really don’t want to go through a “ omg I want to be special but this cat gets more attention then me. Now my dad isn’t giving me any attention what am I doing wrong? I’m going to sneak off and do something to be special.” Arc that will probably end with cats saying it was dangerous but there proud of x cat. I want to have tension in the books. I want to have heartbreaking deaths. Not I want to be special cats. All of my friends agree on this. I really hope the writers don’t turn Warriors into a Michel Vey book

(me commenting before i've finished the whole video like an idiot) "treating dragons like oversize horses or pets" t h a n k y o u. that is absolutely right, other than wings of fire its' basically more about humans with these dragons that are like, the same intelligence level as them but still kind of treated like animals. i don't read much, its just what i've seen while looking for books, but that 'dragon rider' trope i've seen several times is just. awful. "oversize horses" is the best description i've seen of it. To be fair, most of when i've seen this is on writing websites and not actual books, so they're not finished, but they're just? all the same? just a few begging chapters that are basically mirrors of all the other stories? i mean i never finish any stories either but my point isn't that they're unfinished, just how cliche and similar and ridiculous they are. But tui is just, amazing at writing dragons. i mean some other authors do dragons well, but not like tui. they're amazing? i don't know what it is but she just writes dragons amazingly. maybe it's that humans aren't important and don't control them at all like in basically every other dragon story. but could you imagine? us punt humans controlling those brilliant huge fire-breathing creatures? n o . that makes zero sense, especially when they're written to be -as- more intelligent than humans. in this essay i will -not use any capitalization whatsoever-

I honestly believe it's about possession. Tree might have summoned a Dark Forest Cat. And this one is around Bramble the whole time. If Bramblestar loses one of its life now, then it's like a perfect doorway for the spirit to enter the body. That might be why Bramblestar acts strange in Silent Thaw, because that Spirit/Shadow possessed him

I hope either Shadowpaw or Rootpaw grows to be a villain. So far (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong I haven't read most of the novellas and some of the super editions) but most of the villains have either been introduced to us as evil or born evil, Mapleshade is really the only character to be given an explanation as to why she's evil. Think about how awesome it would be to see a villain grow right before us and get to see why the cat feels what they're doing is justified.

Shadowpaw is a pleasant character and is nice to read, Rootpaw gets a bit more and better character (at least to me), Bristlepaw is relatable (to me) and has a interesting crush. The plot is interesting and the book ends with a cliffhanger.

I agree with you completely. Well.....almost. I'm always excited for a new warrior cat book, and always end up disappointed. The loss of Vicky Holmes (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) made the VOS series go downhill. That upset me. Lost stars though is a little better. I actually like Shadowpaw as a main character. Although I wanted to kill Tigerheart (star) and Dovewing because I hated their romance, I think the Erins did a good job on developing Shadowpaw. I loved the darker tone of this book making it a little more mature. I mean Bramblestar was possessed, how darker can the Erins go. Hopefully more....But on the Rootpaw subject, he was.....okay. Daddy issues is not new but I think that this book tackles the concept of social anxiety really well. Rootpaw was so deprived of kindness that the scene with Bristlefrost, Rootpaw and the vole just shows how desperate he is. I just hope they don't rush him growing up. Bristlefrost really had no important reason to be a main character in this book except to tell us what was going on in Thunderclan. Her coming-of-age experience is really child like and was made for a younger audience. The only reason why I don't hate her is because she's the key to Rootpaw's development since she was the first and only cat to show him some kindness. Hopefully in the next book Bristlefrost will become more important. On the return of Ashfur....its a dissapointment. The Erins will have to explain how a cat in starclan made contact with Shadowpaw. Maybe it will give us a deeper look into starclan.

This series is the most exiting and most climax reached series out of all of them and is my favorite so far. BristleFrost I think is the most boring. But we need to keep an eye on Bramblestar. "Adore.." ...Adore? Who the hell adores LEAFPOOL? (Aside from vicky) If rootpaw was boring, then Leafpool's story was like watching paint dry over and over again. For 3 different series. I LOVE how her death was swept under the rug. True I don't normally approve of such things, but obviously they didn't want 2 say 2 much because they wrote an ENTIRE book on Leafpool's death through squirrelflight. It's just not out yet. There was a lot of advertising after all. It does kind of say what happened 2 her. But I rejoiced at the cut-throat boot that Leafpool was given. Never liked her, never will. And I'm not paying for her "death book."
