I started with POT with zero context of any previous books and I didn't feel very lost at all. I knew there was missing context but it was still easy enough to follow along and get context clues about previous arcs. The Leafpool mom twist still got me tho, no I wasn't expecting that 🤷‍♂️

I wished Tallstar would have ripped Onestar a new one for going against his dying wishes. Yes Tallstar wanted a strong windclan but he also wanted union between the clans. However Tallstar all throughout Onestar's confession was pretty chill and that was disheartening for me. Also Tallstar was very anti-kittypets duing that book which well is true for the clans doesn't make sense when we as readers know TallTail was best friends with Jake to the point he considered living as a kittypet if he could stay with Jake. I understand Tallstar was leader at that point and wouldn't have the same personality he did as an adult but just a comment I needed to make

its honestly really cool to see this video now since dovewing has definitely became a beloved character in the fandom nowadays!! it sucks it took this long for the fandom to finally appreciate her but im at least glad they do now. the old fandom used to have so much gross misogynistic rhetoric, it's refreshing to see a lot of it clear up. it's not perfect by any means, but it's by far an improvement.

It's pretty clear that you hate this series and everything that involves it, just stop following this series, it will be better for everyone.

Came back after years to look for the feathersasha video but saw that you made a new one! To add my piece of opinion (especially after reading the graphic novel) the art is absolutely fantastic, the characters are unique yet recognizable, I love that for the first time ever, they gave the characters eyebrows and winged eyeliner (that is not exclusive to she cats either, such as Princess and Tigerclaw having it but not Bluestar and Sandstorm) and I don't think a graphic novel takes away own imagination, because the same thing can be argued for fan art, I still imagined the cats differently after seeing fan interpretation. The art is very detailed and charming and far from 'lazy' and 'just decent'. Though I agree with the WOF ones, I was never a fan of those. But the kits that were abducted to Shadowclan got more characterization than in the og books. As others have pointed out already the adaptation is going to be 3 books for the whole first series, so it only makes sense to add bits of fire & ice into the first one. As for Silverstream (love her buff design) the "bad decisions" part may just be foreshadowing her death. Just because the outcome of Feathertail is good doesn't mean that her death was any less horrible. From what I can remember from the og books, Silverstream made the decision that she wanted to be with Graystripe instead of staying in the camp where she would have gotten medical help faster, you could argue risking your life just to see someone casually is a bad decision. (Although doing whatever you want despite possible dangers is a part of a character's charm.) And no one can deny the stress that was put on both the couples friends, Fireheart and Mistyfoot. If you read all of this, I applaud you❤

If this situation didnt use SF and BS, and instead used characters that were purposefully supposed to be abusive relationships(Yellowfang/Raggedstar, Tom/Turtletail/Bumble) I think it would’ve different but this? Nah

It’s honestly extremely creepy that people ship Fire and Spotted and Bluestar and Thrushpelt, but not, say, Dove and Tiger. The main problem most people have with Dove and Tiger is the age gap, which isn’t huge, mind you, compared to the age gaps between the two above mentioned ships. Bluestar was a kit when Thrushpelt was a warrior, and, for those who don’t know, Thrushpelt and Tawnyspots are littermates, for those who even remember Tawnyspots from Bluestar’s Prophecy. Boom! Huge age gap right there. I will also put forth Thistleclaw, famous for his role in the above mentioned book and for his creepy pedophilia in Spottedleaf’s Heart. Creepiest bit here? Spottedleaf was not only older than Darkstripe (despite what Graypaw said in Into The Wild) AND Tigerclaw, but she was the same age as Thistle in that book, and in a similar position of power when she supposedly “fell in love” with Firepaw. Essentially, she was repeating what had happened to her, on Firepaw, only she didn’t get very far. Disgusting, right? That is why, I hate Spottedleaf, and think people need to calm down when judging age gaps in Warriors

Kinkajou really had no emotional stake in the fight against Darkstalker. It would have been so much better if Moonwatcher did it, or Winter, or Turtle, or Anemone or the freaking protagonist QIBLI! And I also think Darkstalker should eaten the strawberry willingly, but again, my main gripe is how a comic relief side character is the one to deal the final blow.
