Hey there! This is Masuku! Voice of Sonic, Xain and Knux! And I got a couple of things to say about this one! Now, this may not be the song I've grown on meeting Nominal with. But it has grown and stuck to me on an emotional state that this song just became something special to me. The title, the theme, the screaming that *I MYSELF* did for this (Referring to the "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" quote) and just everything else about it. It stuck to me so much in both a physical and mental way and you guys have no god damn idea how happy I was to help Nominal out on making this. Recording the chromatics and the lines was the most fun I've had on a project since a while. Second only to my real project, Messverse. But overall, this is a banger. To me, this song symbolizes fighting the fears of pain and regret, because in order to become a better person, one must confront the person they are now in order to grow. In my eyes, Xain represents Sonics struggle as a hero, the fate of the world always rests on his shoulders. Sonic couldn’t show an ounce of doubt because that would be a sign that all hope is lost. Sonic feels he has let everyone that he loves down, and Xain is exploiting that for his own benefit. In the original, it seemed like at the end all hope was lost. In this one however, just when sonic is about to give up, the two people who he holds dear to his heart come back to give him the same advice he gave them, that allowed them to grow as a person. This gives sonic hope, and is ultimately rising up to defeat Xain, not just to get closure for his friends, but a new start for sonic.

Ah so now I know why it's called a "Remembrance Mix". It isn't just to have the viewers remember this song, it's to give the fact that Sonic remembers who was always on his side, even if they are gone now. Remembering them for who they were before and not what they are now and holding onto that in an attempt to finally regain control of his mind. That is a powerful feeling right there. I'm not sure if this will affect the Breaking Point Remembrance Mix in terms of plot if there is gonna be one. But good job Nominal, hitting us with a new take on a classic.

Ok I think I’m now going to post a real comment. I absolutely LOVE this song, visuals, theme, art, etc Something I LOVE is how the original version sounded a lot more hopeless and looking at the cover art it looked like if sonic had no control whatsoever of his mind and no hope of gaining control. In the end of the original felt like it was over for sonic, he will never gain his body back no matter how hard he tried. It sounded sad and depressing. HOWEVER, In this one the songs a lot more upbeat and you can see sonic from crying to actually end up fighting his control. Then when thinking about tails and knuckles he decides to go all out. Then looking at the art instead of sonic losing control he’s now GAINING control. The ending sounds a lot more hopeful then the original as he fights of the demon in his mind. I love the story in your vids and I’m very proud of you for not giving up even after the false accusations. Keep up the great work!

I love how just The entire FNF concept is absent from this. Xain is a version of sonic.Exe from another universe but he actually had to fight sonic to take over his body, sonic was obviously losing. Then xain goes and kills first tails, then knuckles, and finally Eggman, making sonic watch the whole time.

I see this as good ending for original Lost My Mind. While in original Sonic couldn't do anything against Xain, here, by help of his friends, he managed to get Xain out of his head. That's, at least how I see this
