Have you ever watched The Leftovers? Damon Lindelof, the guy who was the head writer of Lost was also the head writer of The Leftovers. I love Damon's focus on the character stories and the experimentation of the characters in weird environments.

I still feel that Lost is the greatest television ever made, and its level of greatness has never been able to be reached. >Unfortunately, it sparked a negative fan base of people who watched the show for specific reasons. And, got upset when the show embraced the formula that was always there to begin with. > And, don't get me started on how many people didn't get the ending and judged the show on an ending that THEY misinterpreted. That was just ridiculous. Either way, Lost is still a standard that other tv shows failed to reach in my opinion. The mystery box formula, the serialized format, the flashes, the balance of sci fi and fantasy, the action and adventure, the music, the fan base, and the character conclusions.
