​@@vfta7906 Yep, which is the reason I refuse to ever rewatch it. The series is dear to me only as a memory of time spent with my family, waiting anxiously for every DVD release-and for what? For them to stick a knife in your back with an ending that left most questions unanswered. It was definitely a masterclass in how to create suspense and interesting storylines. However, they didn't care to tie the dozens of story threads into a coherent whole, but just took you for what felt ultimately like a pointless ride, even if it was emotionally powerful at times.

We could talk to death with friends about what would happen next and what secret meaning everything had. And reading about rumors and theories online was loads of fun too.
