That looked like a lot of fun! If your acrylic/silicone stamps won't stick to your block (either way around) you coutld try adding a bit of stick glue (eg Pritt Stick) to the block. It will wash off once you've finished, and I find it helps the stamps to stick long enough to work with. :) x

Glue stick for the stamps that won't stick - I'm sure someone's already suggested that. I had a card to make for a very special someone - thinks to myself "I'll use Julie's stamps n dies, and Marions pearly embossing powders". Makes my flowers, faffing for hours. Have you ever used Lindy’s powders? I still am in a rut, lots of ideas but I just can’t explain it. I think it is overwhelming for me. Small space since my daughter moved here. I had a room dedicated to my things. Now it’s here there and yonder. Not fun. TFS. Love your dedication. I would have to copy the sentiments and keep book in tact. That’s just me. Try a little double sided tape runner on the block.

I did that in reverse Judy - I moved in with my daughter - now ALL my crafty stuff is in with my bedroom - can hardly move - it looks like a warehouse stockroom 😞😂 NOT inspiring at all xx

Usually, if you wash the polymer stamps with soap and water and let them air dry they will stick again to your clean acrylic blocks.

Why don't you decide which technique you really enjoy playing around with (my guess - mixing up your embossing powders and melting them together) and try mixing them up together with another technique that you enjoy without trying to make that perfect card or just trying them out on another craft.

I love how”easy “you make it look but when I sit in front of my things and have a plain card in front of me I just hope it turns out lovely like yours. I have had bad luck with all my equipment: I got a heat transfer machine for t shirt,mugs and anything- it was recalled due to fire danger. I got a circut and it was not cutting and had to be replaced and ruined lots of cardboard and paper.-Last night my sizzix gave up and the handle (crank handle) Broke off!!!! I am getting a new one tomorrow big shot from sizzix -I hope it will work and I can get back to my card making which I loved years ago! My confidence has not been good lately and I hope I can improve with watching your videos and finally produce some cards I can be proud of. I have a question: when you want to emboss a card on the outside (Out of card-stock) with a pattern do you have to spray it with something first to soften it a touch to take on the new form? I am looking forward to making some cards with you while I have you on you tube. I m sure I will get it right from now on 😊❤😊( you make my day with your humour and your easy going way I laugh so much when you laugh it just makes me laugh out loud you are a wonderful teacher

Love 'Only Fools' ❤ my fav character is Trigger. Cards are fab but i do prefer the first one. I think the centre stands out much more when the side stamping has no colour.

If ever I can't get a clear stamp to cling to a block/lid I pop a little bit of removable tape on the flat side to help it to stay adhered whilst stamping it
