Have taken private lessons and group classes with Chris over the years. This is the real deal for improving on trumpet! Currently involved with his Comeback Trumpet Player workshop.

Wow, how can I explain it? This is the most organic , down to earth advice I have ever heard from a teacher. He does understand that life happens to everyone, and most of the time, we students get discouraged because of it. I am no longer going to force myself to sound like Miles Davis. Thank you for the inspiration, sir. ❤🎶🎺🙏🏻

It's said that more heads are better than one. Together we can cover more ground and discover much more. I've listened to versions of tunes that I liked better than others. I imitated the phrasing, tempo, etc. Yet, I never obsessed with playing it exactly like another artist.

I was worried you were going to say that if my sound isn't so great that I must have a bad soul! Your videos motivate me to practice more (and more efficiently).
