Lovely FAQ Benji but I don't agree with the adrenaline 1 suggestion. My striker alt has been spec-eso since forever since it was the only one I could afford and the first thing I did when they buffed the class engraving was to go from a 333321 build to a 5x3 by taking adrenaline from 2 to 3, eso from 1 to 3 and completely removing keen blunt. Now why would I do such a thing? Remove the engraving everyone gushes about? first of all since entropy already gives a bunch of critdamage the bonus from KBW is not as impactful since even if you cap your crit at 100% (not likely unless you chain yourself to other critsynergies) the positive effect of KBW (level 3 entropy set) ends up as a 18.87% dps increase which is what everyone gushes about but it completely ignores 2 things: 1) you're not at 100% critchance and 2) the downside is about 10% chance to do 20% less damage so roughly a -2% dps hit there. With just your own characters stats simply increasing eso from 1 to 3 is worth losing the entire level 3 KBW engraving and for that reason I would not recommend an adrenaline 1 build that retains KBW: "drop it like its hot"!!! my current 5x3+1 @1540 has raid captain as the lvl 1 but I wanted ether predator as I have no swiftness in my build but at least this way I don't have a long rampup and since the tripods are maxed so is my speed if I prep with both skills. if I ever manage to get a 9/7 stone I'd probably still stay clear of KBW and go Eso3, GR3, AM3, MInc3, RC3, Adr2. However if you DO consistantly play with at least 1 other critsynergy in your party then KBW retains it's spot as one of the top engravings (I'd prefer front/back synergy any day of the week and twice on sunday).

Hi Benji, for build no.2, you mentioned crit ring but could you also go crit earring? For non 9-7 stone with just adren 1. Building one atm and unsure whether to go crit ring or crit earring with adren 1.

if you are asking for a 5x3+2 build. i would go grudge raid adren eso ambush mi(2) crit spec neck / all spec / earing swift and use the movement speed tripods on spiral impact and sky shatter

I want to switch to eso just for the mobility and freedom of choosing my runes. DB is like a prison.

what mobility? the swift 300 build?

@@boult1487 There's different options to gain it and that's the main point. ESO allows you to choose a few different options on tripods, runes, stats and still be competitive. If you run DB you cannot change anything in the build or it just doesnt work.

Spec eso flurry has to hit everything in the back to reflect deathblow dmg. Very hard If you miss one you wait a long time and gotta wait for lw if you don’t want to lose dmg

Prior to the buff, that's actually the case, a while ago Kanon made a video and tested it on Trixion that pre balance patch 5 spender Eso can parse higher than Deathblow. Of course it's not real raid scenario, but the numbers are there. Now that Eso is getting a 12% engraving buff (which is huge), playing 5 spender Eso is definitely less punishing right now, and if you can maintain a really good back attack uptime, not only that you'd reflect Deathblow damage, you'd be gapping Deathblow.
