Nice video. I’m an old man. My son and I once fished the Kispiox for three weeks without seeing a fish. Camping in the rain, some mornings icy guides. The rain came, the river rose, the river fell….then came “that evening”. Never forget it. A million dollars? Two? People throw around the word priceless, well, there ain’t no free lunch. Gotta love steelhead fishing.

Love that you both are using the right gear , for the right conditions, we are so lucky to have such a fisherie but its difficult at times to be on rivers watching people with 6wt rods , looking for steelhead, with light tippet, on such rivers like the trinity. I can't help but feel people need to be educated more on the right gear for such things , get those fish in and back out . , , protect what you love.

The fresh wound on the first fish and another one with healed scars is a testament to what these fish go through on their journey. Sea lions in the ocean, eagles,otters and fisherman on the river. Beautiful fish nicely done. I live near and fish the American it's a tough river for steelhead but there are some nice fish in there
