Lots of great tools, Therese! I also finally 'bit the bullet' a while back and bought the teflon bone folder...don't know how I lived without it now :)

This is great! I want to get into card making and wasn't sure what to get.

If I were a beginner, this is exactly the list I'd follow, Therese... now, about that bone folder - I've worn out the small one that came with my full-size Martha Score Board... could I, or would I want to, use this in its place? At the high cost, I'm afraid I'd damage it. Thanks, Therese!! =] Michele

@icardeveryone01 I understand your hesitation due to the financial outlay. Honestly it is the best bone folder I've ever used. I do make sure I put it away in the same place every time and no one shares my craft space. I hope you will give it a go. 🌷🇨🇦🌷

Thanks for all the great tips Therese, a random question but what is the grid lined mat you use, it looks so nice in all your videos.

Thanks so much for your comment. Would you believe that I actually went looking for a 'black' mat and this is what I came home with, I agree, the colour is so nice. It's made by American Crafts and is 23" X 17" and the reverse side is the same colour but the grid lines are white. It does mark a little, but cleans up alright too. Hope this is helpful, have a great weekend, Therese

lostinpaper thanks so much for your quick reply, my mat is from a cheap shop and I have had it for years, and had a very hard life, very marked and stained, time to upgrade I think.

Therese I have the Fiskers trimmer and would not be without it. I am interested in the other trimmer you use. What one is that? You said the blade does not need replacing so I assume it is a guillotine? I have one but it is not very good. Gloria x

I still have my stampamagig. It is likely the oldest tool I own from about 2004 or so. Every tool you suggested is great. I do not have the scoring board tool. I use either my paper cutter scoring blade or simply fold and use my bone folder tool. I used to have plastic, lost it and bought the teflon one and even though I found the plastic one, I never use it. 🥰🇨🇦🥰

The teflon bone folder is definitely a game changer and the score board is not essential but I do use it to create patterns as well which can add some fun designs (the larger ones can be used to make envelopes but that is something I do not have the energy for lol.). Hugs Tx

@@lostinpaper I would love to see what you can do with the score board for design work. Will you be able to do a video on that topic? 💖🇨🇦💖
