I'm still salty with Bandai for such a terrible management of the app... Since I had my bracelets off for a couple of months, I didn't update my app, skipping a version. The last update required that previous update, so my data was never read. I deleted the app in order to start from scratch and I still couldn't open the freaking app, so I don't even have access to an empty app, it's frustrating, I don't want to power my bracelets on ever again if I can't store the mon.

oh this should be interesting, I've met some new people recently who don't even know that the virtual pet scene is still very much alive and well in 2025, and it's been heartbreaking to discuss the Vital Bracelet since we now have such a better grasp at what could have been for this type of concept

Definitely recommend getting the mod update for the BE. The QoL improvements are INSANE!

I’ve had a VBDM since 2022 and BE since 2023, both thankfully still work fine, a bit scuffed due to how easy it is to scratch the screen, but otherwise really have enjoyed them and been using one or the other every day since first getting them. The wristband is extremely finicky and doesn’t stay fastened, bought a couple of custom wristbands and adapters for them both.

What an amazing pup, I still take my VB to work with different Digimon on it to have depending on the job I'm doing. Haven't experienced the button issue yet but maybe a tutorial video in the future on how to fix?

I noticed my first vital being the limited green veemon one ancient warrior dm. It survived a motors wreck and more. The BE anniversary one with one I call good boy this alive over a year. Basically the one ya have in the video the anniversary stamp on it is worn out

I still have all my VBs, though I only use my Vital Hero and VB BE Special Ver. These days. I still have a lot of mons I want to get from all the BEs and DiMs I bought. As long as the storage works offline and they dont take that away I'm happy. I'm still sad they just stopped though, I feel like the idea is so good even if the execution has been lacking in several areas. It was so much fun seeing new Dims/BEMs announced with their rosters and I loved the fanvote ones too! Right now I'm working on Veemon from the Imperialdramon BE and the DC Dims.

I wish Bandai made buttons for the VB's like AppleWatches, I still have my VB's and I haven't went back to using them since those buttons stoped working.

Sucks that the potential was never reached. Sending it to an app to do...nothing except expedite stats because you have hundreds of items...sucked. I wish there was a fully realized game or something, to make all my purchases and evolutions mean something. Sucks, now it's all gone.
