The vocals are what really grabbed me in this song. The singer walked the line of singing and growling very well. He knew when to sing and when to growl and each complimented what was going on in the song at that moment. You guys bring it EVERY time you react to a song. That's why you've blown up and why most folks say you're the best reaction channel out there. Simply put, you are. #freethinkers I'd like to request a reaction to Lingus by Snarky Puppy because, y'know, you've come to expect this of me and I can't disappoint you now, can I?

Aaron - because it helps people locate similar music much easier. Say you're looking for a similar band to Throwdown and all you have to go by is "it's a metal band", you'd end up with stuff like Darkthrone or Cattle Decapitation. I'm all about unity within the metal community, but genres are always a great idea when it comes to leading people further down the rabbit hole, gradually.

That's deliberate. Throwdown were seen as Pantera copycats in their later history. I saw them on the day that Dimebag died with Lamb of God, and they paid respect to him by covering Sepultura's 'Roots'. We couldn't really work that one out considering they sounded so much like Pantera. 😉

They are from Texas, believe it or not.
