I’m from 8 mile and Van Dyke (the Warren side where Eminem’s mom’s trailer was in 8 mile) but I actually live in Vegas now. That is the Spirit of Detroit statue in downtown Detroit. Bronze sphere is supposed to symbolize god and people in the other hand humanity/relationships/family. Favorite part of that statue is when they throw a Lions, Red Wings or Michigan jersey on it. Neither here nor there but since it was mentioned, there’s some free info.
