I have told this story in YT comments and will repeat it here. I know of a daughter now in her 40s who treated her father badly for years. Sided with her mother in the divorce and refused to have anything to do with him other than ask for money. To this very day, this daughter is still trying to fix the damage she and her mom did. She is his child that is not in question. He has not met his grandchildren as far as I know. What did it was something that happened when she was 17. The father had bought her a nice used car. I have seen photographs of that car. It was somewhere around a 1995 Honda Accord and was a nice car. He drove it to where she was living with her mom and had his brother following to give him a ride back home. When he got out of the car and told her it was hers according to the man she rolled her eyes looked back at her mom and insulted both her dad and the car. He told me he cried while driving the car back to his home. From that day forward he never attempted to reach out or contact her again. When she got married he refused to be a part of the wedding or pay for it. In this story, I can't support what he did to Rebecca after she insulted him. However, on that same token, I would not put up with all the disrespect he put up with. I should also mention that paternity fraud is not a criminal matter. Gosh only knows how much I wish it was though!

@@WilliamH-et4 I have no idea. This guy lives in North Georgia and I don't see him all that much these days since I now live in Virginia. I can only guess with age has come some wisdom and she has come to see her mistakes and is trying to repair the damage. Her father simply wants peace in his life and spends his time with his now wife, He has three now-grown children with her. He does not know anything about his ex-wife. Last we spoke he did not even know if she was still alive.
@THE-michaelmyers5 ай бұрын
@@WilliamH-et4 I just got off the phone with him. I called him about 30 minutes after making that last comment. I quoted your full question to him during that phone call. What he said was his daughter with his current wife does have some limited contact with her step-sister. This daughter from his 1st wife works at a county 911 operations center and is married to a Cop. He said there is some early planning for a family event on Lake Lanier over Labor Day. His later kids understandably want to know their half-sister better and he is not angry about that. The problem is they don't really understand what the first wife and daughter put him through. This man is a devout Catholic and told me that he knows he has to forgive. I am actually hoping he can be reconciled with the daughter and meet his grandkids.

@@THE-michaelmyersI would tell the man that he doesn’t have to forgive. Even God does not forgive unless we first confess. However, he does have to tell the offender what they did to him, giving the opportunity for that person to repent. If they do repent, then he does need to forgive at that point. Sounds like the daughter is ready to repent. The catharsis he would experience would be amazing, I think.

Why did Sandra want to talk to him? She said almost nothing except that it wasn’t his fault and that she really did love him. However, 2 decades of actions, of cuckolding him, speaking ill of him, disrespecting him, mocking him with his brother, passing off her love child as his, supporting the daughter in her disrespect, and so many other things, truly reveal that she does not love him. What she loved was what he did for them, the way he supported them and loved them in every way. She loved that and felt the loss of that. But she didn’t love him. It was fun for her to deceive him, to scheme about divorcing him and taking everything he owned, to mock him with her AP or MIL or daughter. She enjoyed that.

I say balance because rather poor, rich, weak, or strong, dumb or smart, none of it matters when it comes to relationships because there's actually super successful wealthy men out there who are dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to women and there's poor men who know what to do in the bed so they can secretly take the rich man woman and wealth 😂😂😂

Depends on the era. I've been backhanded by my father for popping off at the mouth or disrespecting my mother. That was the norm in my neighborhood and culture (my parents are Mexican). They both now feel sorry for using those methods and always remind me to break the cycle with my own son. I'll admit, some of my father's habits are in me and I've had the impulses to discipline my son the same way I was, but thankfully the worst I ever did was a spank or grabbing him aggressively.
