This guy had neuropathy in his hands so severe that he couldn't type on a computer and needed disability, but they didn't hurt too bad to dig, rebuild an entire cabin, build a shed, refurbish furniture, paint, pour concrete, plant a garden, etc?

You can do some stuff like dig with thumb, pointer, and middle finger. Typing without a pinkie and ring finger is a pain

These stories are so refreshing, they are very well written and provide a great insight into a different way of life. Well done LLC.

For 26 years I owned a 2000 sq. foot ranch that was heated solely with wood. We hauled water from spring until first snow. The well was up the hill about 900 feet from the house. I loved being self sufficient in those aspects. You get old and we retired to a subdivision in central Kentucky. It was a good kind of work and I miss it. Great story! I wish I had learned what he did in his youth 😂😅😊

I like this upload!! While I don’t need to live frugal, I have a cabin in the north on 200 acres, set up much like this as a bug out place for me and my family!! But my power is propane powered generator, and I do not have a root cellar yet!!

In the shadow the Cumberland plateau, North of Chattanooga. You are about as far east Tennessee as you can get.

Cool story. I have often fancied getting out and living at the edge of the wilderness. Except starting with a fifth wheel….

Cheating revenge stories are better. This story was boring, imho.
