Yes, I understand why you would want to keep the dirty details from your children(if you are lucky enough that the cheater is an honorable person but if they cheated odds are they have no idea of what honor is) but when you go this route all you achieve more often than not is allowing the cheater to control the narrative and the only loser is the children and the betrayed spouse, so it is best if the truth is given to the children up front.

I know he was hurt and angry however, knowing that his kids (especially his daughter) would be living with that 304 of a witch, he should have done everything within his power to make himself available to the kids. He knew she would have at least one man, likely more around his kids. Therefore for that reason he needed to suck it up and be there for them, making sure that they knew how to get in touch with him. Otherwise he was a great guy, very likable. Good story!

Some of these commentators are insane! How is Nate a narcissist and bad father? They rejected him, hurt him, and treated him like the villain; to try to manipulate him into coming back to his cheating wife! He did the right thing. Actions have consequences. That’s the problem with people today. The victim should get over their feelings( the only feelings that actually matter), and just take the disrespect being hurled at them. People are so weird.

Especially, because Catalina is already a far better mother than the one who gave birth to me EVER WAS. Yep, the bond between Amber & Catalina is truly that of Mother & Daughter;)! It sadly & unfortunately took seven years, not only for Nathan to get his children back, but for his children to have a REAL MOTHER in their lives;)! The saying “God works in mysterious ways” fits this story perfectly! Without Nathan getting his heart ripped out by the 304 & his soul ripped out by his children, he never would’ve moved & met Catalina & having such a wonderful, beautiful daughter Alondra! His kids HAD to destroy him as they were the ONLY reason to stay around! Like he said, upon losing them & being disowned/thrown away, he had nothing to keep him there!
