Megapixel Multiply or Release 7

Four colours, controlled by marbles, battle for control of a 1000x1000 pixel grid.
Marbles start at number 1, and multiply in value when they enter the corresponding green triggers. If they enter the red triggers, their number will reset to 1, and the number that was reached will be launched as either a burst attack or a charged shot.
Burst attack will fire shots equal to the number reached, up to several hundred or thousand shots per second depending on the number of shots still be to launched. Any subsequent burst attacks will increase the number of shots remaining. Each shot will convert one territory pixel to the player's colour.
A charged shot will combine the full number into one large shot, which will convert territory pixels equal to its number.
The charge can also be used to replenish the player's shield. The shield blocks any incoming shots, and takes damage equal to the shot strength.

@@maskie4189 yeah I think the defense is too selective. It doesn’t allow large numbers is which really screwed over yellow. It spent most of the match without a shield and little to be done about it. Would have been more interesting with more flexibility instead of hard stops. Oh well

This is good but there is only one problem, when the balls in the left of the screen get big enough, they can’t fit in the 2x, 4x, or 8x, so they just fly out and can’t fit on anything, my suggestion to fix this problem is that beyond a certain point, the balls in the plinko game should stop growing, so that the balls can keep and keep on having a higher value without it’s size going in the way. This is so that eventually the balls won’t be too big to fit into the holes, (2x, 4x and 8x holes), stopping them from growing even further.

That's the intention. I loosened it a bit for this video but I've been thinking of making one with this soft cap removed completely. The difficulty here (and why I implemented it in this way for this series) is that because the field is so massive, I need the balls to quickly multiply in value to reach the 10k-100k range, but if making multiplication too easy it also means it becomes very likely for a ball to simply keep multiplying forever, reaching billions and trillions, which would simply end the game/video. So while I'll try to make that video, if it always ends in pain it might never see the light of day.

410th comment Here's a video idea, imagine 4 corners, like a normal Megapixel multiply and release, right? But each color has a different ability, for example. Yellow is able to double the amount of mass the Meteor Ball gets from the Spread Shot but gets pushed back double the amount from enemy Spread Shots. Blue gets double the mass for the Death Meteor Ball but their force field gets half of the mass they were originally gonna obtain. Red's Meteor Balls can only stay on their territory but can make a shockwave worth half the mass of the Meteor Ball. Green can merge multiple Meteor Balls but will receive twice as much damage on Meteor Balls, Territory, and Force Field. Tried to make it as fair as possible with some variety, just a suggestion though!

Currently if a big ball hits the meteor shower section its just useless, meteor and shield are way better options so i propose a meteor shower buff, the more marbles it has the faster it fires or maybe they star becoming mini meteors like at 100m ieach meteor vecomes a bugger 16 meteor or even bigger For the shield i like the new mechanic of not instantly breaking but i think at a certain point like maybe 0.1% or 0.5% of he meteor hp it would instantly break makes it more balanced since rn if you keep getting shield ur basically invincible but thats probably a problem with the shields in general
