A perfect example was neptunia he knew about plutia and peshy since the first game as they were op dlc characters he used, so he fully knew their forms and even moves. But he pretended to have no clue who they were the entire second game and faked surprise in the 3rd game. It was very convincing and if you didn't already know he knew it would be very hard to tell he knew.
