From what I've seen, Link's dialog options tend to have a funny bend to them. I like the idea that even though he's a "Silent Protagonist" he is actually a sassy weirdo who likes poking fun at everyone the rare times he does speak. The skeleton Link comic lines up well with that personality.

Also nah Noble, he got something, Hero of Twilight is confirmed his descendant within the game, he passes on his teachings to his last bloodline, meaning he got some action from some gal. As I've also said when there's a Malon meme, most likely was her considering the background of TP, farming community, near the Lost Woods, her desire to marry a knight, we know Hero of Time was also a knight from the Hero's Shade. He is also an adult, taller than Hero of Twilight, so he doesn't die in Majora's Mask, grows up, and married someone most likely Malon. Might've had a rough death becoming a Stalfos, but he must've had a good life at some point.

I'm not sure there is such a thing as too much handholding unless the game tries to do everything for you like the recent Pokemon games. As basically the DM in a roleplay (wasn't anything specific, just actual roleplaying with made up characters), I made a situation that was centered around how you start off in a labyrinth where the solution is a straight line. People were failing it... so I added yellow arrows that pointed towards the exit... people still failed it. I don't know whether it was their characters or them that were this bad XD they'd say things like, "okay, this way is clearly spelled out for you to go this way, so it must be a bad idea to go this way"
