@@peters5041Can’t speak exactly for what OP was trying to say, but some people believe that the prison system should do absolutely everything to rehabilitate prisoners. In the US- most of our prisoners regardless of offense end up right back in prison because the system is meant to keep them there and makes them even worse when they leave. I personally would love to see a justice system that always works for rehabilitation & prevention. I think most people would- in order to prevent people like Ian to reaching these levels of depravity. Remember that as disgusting as it is- pedophilia is indeed a mental illness that can be treated properly. There are a couple places in the US trying to work towards creating a system like this. Germany has been working for years to treat people who struggle with those urges, I believe it’s called Project Dunkelfeld? Forgive my spelling if that’s incorrect. A lot of these treatments have showed tons of promise and good results. Maybe they were asking Ian to do his absolute best in any capacity to try to make amends even though his crimes are absolutely despicable? I suppose giving money to sexual assault charities, to the victims families, etc. would be maybe what they’re thinking? Dedicating his life to fighting SA maybe? Again, I’m only taking guesses. This is me genuinely trying to interpret in good faith what they mean by this.

this is true. but as a guy with kids, one of which being a young daughter, i have a hard time listening to this band anymore because of it. its really unfortunate because they used to be one of my favorites. I've tried several times, but i cant stop thinking about my kids, and that feeling of if anyone tried to do anything like that to them, how quickly i would be able to kill the shit out of them.

The band wlnt play the music. Which is a shame. Not with NO Devotion their new name. Maybe the PC culture backlash concerns them. It shouldnt. People like Michael Jackson and its no secret that dude was guilty as Hell. These guys made great records. Literally the Betrayed was good but the lesser effort. The rest were outstanding. It be awesome if they played with a different singer. On that the people respected. This Leto. Or the dude from Bayside.

Would love to hear these songs live now with a different singer. He was hardly the greatest vocalist. Some really good songs wasted

monkeywaster I’m glad someone finally said it. He was an average singer at best.

I really wish they continued with Jamie on lead vocals

Never really understood why Ian was considered a sex symbol in the rock genre. He's always reminded me of a methed out Barry Manilow.
@atumcommel3 жыл бұрын
Even Chad Kroeger probably has been considered one....:P

Mike Stanley You think he was just a normal guy and then 2007 hits and he suddenly starts abusing 16 year old girls?
@mick80959 жыл бұрын
cal kane I think I do. You know, when he started to use drugs more and more, it was harder. Btw 16 year old girl would not be worst but 11 month child is fucking fail. xD

Mike Stanley He pissed in the girl's face and told her to drink it.

Mike Stanley I read the court transcript. That's the link for it if you want to read it but be warned it's beyond fucked up. Unbelievable stuff :( www.judiciary.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/JCO/Documents/Judgments/r-v-watkins-and-others.pdf

Their next show is only in Ian’s mind, probably every day. He ruined everything. He’ll be nearly 60 if he gets released.
