When I first got the KZ Castor Bass, I was verry impressed with the bass and audio quality when compared with TWSs. But after sometimes i got to try Fiio JD1 and I overall liked the vocal and high frequencies on that one and it was way more comfy listening to long session on Fiio that KZ. I felt that the bass is very good and thumpy on KZ that makes the other frequencies muddy. So i added a DAC and adjusted the higher and mid frequencies using Wavelet and the result was that it was better sounding than the Fiio. So Castor has so much tuning capability than other IEMS and once you have understood your music taste nature you can make it sound like whatever you can because of dual drivers.. While it is limited in other IEMS in the price point.

Zero (check zero 2) for gaming but it lack bass in comparison to chu 2 dont know about kz. If you play bgmi, avoid waner. I have them and they are not good for footsteps detection. You can check freshreviews he reviews firm gaming perspective. He asked to avoid on pc multiplayer too and then 1 another guy i dont remeber. Though for pc offline i need to check. Think they would be ok for offline because my hola perform poor too but not so on offline pc games (just tried alien rage a day ago) You can also check weirdear for gaming perspective.

I recently brought the chu 2 DSP and driving it on s23 for just 2days with apple music and observing crackling of sound beyond 74% volume and a static noise before starting and ending of every song. Besides on you tube I have to increase volume beyond 80% to have a good listening experience.... Have been using kz zsn pro from October 2019 on a regular basis and (I do use an affordable portable dac along with it) the IEM still works like a wonder. It is fun to listen to, there is plenty of base and sparkly highs. Easily one of the best value i ve got from a purchase under INR 2000. I initially thought that i would only buy another set/upgrade only once these go bad, but after a couple of years, i figured that i need to go back on my decision 😂 or else ill be stuck with this thing( it was not that the KZ was bad, but it was fun to try new sets).These are not the cleanest or the detailed set i got, but somehow i end up using it more 🤷‍♂️.

@noisyy3876 The DAC which i used was Venture electronics Abigale pro, it was under 1k back then, it had slight static noise, which disappears once the dac warms up, it even opens up a bit once it warms up. Not sure if this is available now, Audiocular D07 is a good option now if you are on a buget. And regarding the kz, sound stage is above average, never found it amazing or anything, But this might work for gaming due to the separation and those extended highs courtesy of those balance armature drivers. (KZ has newer models zsn pro 2 or if you can strech something like zsn10/12 pro x would provide even better seperation ) , I dont game much so do search a bit more before making your purchase. If sound stage is your singular priority may be try the VR series from final audio 1000,2000,3000. I ve never used them but i ve heard that those have great sound stage)
