There's a lot more to this update than we've come to expect, and some of it is very exciting stuff. I'm also curious what happened to the redeployment of Piranha Games to working on LOTRO, and if anything has / is coming from that any time soon. Good video Blud, looking forward to the next one :)

Back in Jan 2023, Piranha Games are working on a "Single Player MechWarrior Game" for their MechWarrior Franchise that is targeting 2024 for it's Release. Obviously this is purely based on my opinion, I have no sources, they just quietly cancelled whatever Project that Piranha Games was helping with for LOTRO. Which was most likely the "LOTRO to Consoles" Project as they hoped that between Standing Stone Games + Piranha Games they could find a way to make this happen. I "personally think" this has failed, they quietly Behind the Scenes talked about it and all Parties involved have moved on. Enad Global 7 for example hasn't talked about LOTRO like they were from that Dec 2020 Investor Report and I think this is why. As if one looks at the Annual Report for EG7 for Jan to Dec 2022, they only talk about LOTRO having the Higher Player Numbers in several years with a highly successful 15th Anniversary. The only bit about LOTRO for end of 2022 for a 2023 Report is that the LOTR IP saw more going on due to the Rings of Power. Alongside of how the SSG LOTRO Team are now talking about things, how "LOTRO Remaster" is a Long Term & Piece Meal Project instead of a Large Singular Update and so on I think has lowered EG7's expectations of LOTRO Behind the Scenes & Publicly due to the nature of their language about LOTRO is usually a single sentence about either the 15th Anny or the RoP Series back in Sept 2022.

The lag update is potentially disappointing, only because lag has been around since long before the Delving system, but hopefully it along with the other fixes will work together have a widespread effect. It was a lot better for a time after the release of the 64-bit launcher, but then something changed, and some of the lag came back. New races and classes always excite me because I'm an altoholic, lol. And sea shanties would be hilarious. 😆 We'll see how many variations of Eärendil the players can come up with for their character names.

ETA: One of the lag fixes I'm hoping to see is that I'll stop getting "already in use" messages when I was there *&^%# first!

Wouldn't they be "land shanties"? You know since there's no seas or even ships to sail on those seas. Only way I see this making sense is if the river hobbits give us access to small boat travel like stable masters and mariner gives us access to ships that function like a house on water

the squish of classes seems pretty stupid. Just stop increasing the HP and dps and not waste time changing armour, dps, hp and xp. Too many changes and places for errors. Fix useful stuff like adjusting font size, deed book from yellow on yellow, and low quality of drops

Yeh I wanna hear what it looks like on their new tools. Like what data they re getting. Severlin also said there are more things to be deployed
