Lots has changed in the Barcelo Active hotel Costa Teguise!

This hotel is the Barcel Active in Costa Teguise it was once an Occidental, then a Belive, and now is Barcelo Active situated near the entrance to the resort of Costa Teguise in Lanzarote.
The Barcelo Active is a 4-star hotel in Costa Teguise and is huge, there are many pools and nice areas to chill and relax in and there is also the opportunity to upgrade to Royal Level giving you access to different areas and restaurants in the Barcelo Active hotel. I stayed here when it was the Occidental Playa. It looks like the tennis courts and football pitch have been sacrificed to build those two "Royal Level" pools which is a shame. The other former Occidental hotel over the road is also part of the same resort I believe.

Hy, nice video. I start to think on 2 halves of September are not too cold? And have any idea about the temperature of the pools many places are stone cold after 5 min u come out.

I have stayed here over 20 times ( under many different names Occidental, Be live, etc) always been a great hotel, BUT its not worth paying for the upgrade for the royal level , for that kind of money you could go to a 5 * hotel !

There is two parts and you upgrade usually on booking but think you can at the hotel alsi
