Shelley you really me laugh during the halwa cooking time..when you initially thought your Mum was gonna add SOME butter and she ended up putting the entire block in the pot instead 😂 Then the actual shock of you saying ‘What the whole thing!! Omg this is so scary guys! 🤣🤣 then when she scoops yet more ghee after the block of butter You’re like ‘this is really really bad ‘Oh Allah!! Your Mum calmly responds cutely ‘Well if you’re gonna eat this , let’s eat this well! You then respond ‘this seems like this is ghee sheera! 🤣🤣

We like shujee halwa in our house but sugar amount is the same as the semolina as in 1 cup semolina to 1 cup sugar and 1 and half cups of water with a tablespoon of ghee. It turns out perfect.
