Another idea to cut down on the shine from a cover like that-lightly sanding the whole surface to take off the shine and distress it a bit.

Love watching your process and the finished pages. Also not a fan of shiny-I use a matte spray, even on plastic stickers. Cuts back the shine so I can breathe.😂
