Grapevine news I heard today was not only are they planning on retrofitting heated front and rear seats but they are now also going to retrofit the heated steering wheel!!! I’m a bit surprised the adaptive cruise is an option - considering the auto braking, following distance & pedestrian braking are standard and seem to go hand in hand with adaptive. I’m ok with it being an option.

Once people start realizing that these trucks can be optioned with Cadillacs Super Cruise. (New Cadillacs will be getting the new Ultra Cruise) It will make people wonder why adaptive cruise is still an option. GM or gm (however which way they go by now) has more driving safety suites than most. Yet for most models none of them are standard.

@@pacman1789 super cruise drives the truck Adaptive cruise watches the vehicle infront and backs the throttle off to maintain a safety cushion that matches the speed of the car infront. I could see super cruise do both functions as more trim levels adopt the tech. I like to drive so if both remain an option I’ll be happy to have a truck without them.

I reserved a ‘22 refresh and paid my $100 deposit on the day it was announced. The dealer I reserved it with called me today that they just got in some ‘22 limiteds and said I was on their list showing interest in them. Jeff, Quick question for you, on the 2022 refresh, Sierra 1500 SLE with column shift. If you add the package with the trailer brake controller, where is the controller located, and is it still the squeeze paddles? I can see that with the Center console, it’s behind the shifter but I can’t seem to locate it when you have the 40/20/40 bench seat.

Way past time the active safety functions and adaptive cruise control are becoming available. I have older Subaru dual camera “Eyesight” that’s been around since 2014 and have looked at trading to midsize GM pickup on and off over the years, but not without those active safety features. Nuh-aa no way. Ford Ranger apparently has quite a bit active safety available for several years already, but 2014 to 2023, nine years GM has been lagging Subaru. Maybe now I can consider Colorado or Canyon. Just hope for good reliability is next step.

I’m just gave up on the at4x and I’m ordering a trx, the lack of information really bothers me, I made a reservation and dealer told me I would be able to build and price on November 19th on gmc website and then order on the 28th, then they called me a day before to tell me it was pushed to December 2nd, then they called me again saying it was pushed to December 16th, and you can’t even build or see options on gmc website, 0 information, what’s the point in launching a truck in October and 2 months later there’s nothing for your costumers, and now I see people in the comments saying they just placed an order??? Don't understand how anyone could be against the consul shift in any of the higher end trucks anyway....column shifts went out with the 3 on the tree IMO...best move GM made was put a center consul shift in these trucks.

GREAT VIDEO! If this all carries over to the U.S., I'm all in on a refresh SLT. I didn't want to buy the last gen because, even though the trucks are gorgeous and the colors nice, the Dynamic Blue Metallic wasn't available. Seeing it on the Sierras now has me set. On the contrary, I have an order already placed for a current gen SLT, crew cab, short bed, 2wd with the LM2 and SLT premium plus package. Immediately after seeing this video, I called my local GMC to see what the status of the order is. My Sierra is due to finish production by new year and be at the dealer at the end of January. I let them know that I'm now interested in a refresh SLT. When I placed the order in September, I knew very little about the next gen trucks. After seeing all the media over the last 2 months, I'm sold on a refresh Sierra. I hope I don't piss off my dealer by not taking delivery of the truck I ordered. Haha. But I don't actually *need* a truck, I just *want* one, so I can definitely wait to spend that kind of money.

Although Canada and the USA are somewhat similar for the lost part, I suppose GM Canada looks at some things differently when they are putting their orders/builds together. It was a good place to store your sunglasses and other small items. I had a 95 gmc short bed reg cab long ago. The column shifter in that truck made for a nice resting point when changing stations on the radio. If the ergonomics are good. A column shifter really won’t be missed.

As a former GM guy here is the way I gauge things: W/o fail if I see a vehicle in my rear view mirror with one operating LED I know it is a Tahoe, Yukon, Surburban, Arcadia - PERIOD - I am not talking when the signal flasher is on which automatically mutes/shuts-off that sides LED - I am talking on a straight run highway/secondary road - That screams attention to detail - n this problem is year after year after year - also the info/tainment centers my die hard chevy friend is on his third freakin screen and of course after the first one GM told him to go pound sand. Yeah they look nice - Wake Up!

I appreciate your work, but maybe consider posting less frequently if most of the content in the video is a rehash of previous videos. Maybe not, but check your KZbin analytics, you may be losing views and shares because of it. ✌🏼
