Love your videos. Went to breakfast this morning and in my change I received a 1936 Philadelphia buffalo nickel. I had to do a double take. It was very difficult not to go ask the cashier if I could buy all of her nickels.

Great hunt! I was hunting a nickel box last year and found 4 war nickels and a shield nickel in VF condition. Been dry since then but I’m still reeling from that…

C'mon 50-D.... Besides nickels ( which I enjoy to hunt also ). I had to go to eBay to complete my set from 38 - 59... I do love me some quarters also. Had to fill my book from eBay also, but I can say it's complete . Once you get the collecting bug, it's hard to scratch that itch.. Heck, who am I kidding... I enjoy all the hunts Rob. speaking of Enders, I found my very first War Nickle and yes it was an ender. I was opening a roll for change at work and as i was unrolling the paper i see a deep green edge on the end. I couldnt believe it. i grab it and i see the P mint mark over the monticello, i was so happy

Great video! I also just hunted two nickel boxes today, and got 27 1963 and earlier in the first box, and just 14 oldies in the second box, with only three pre 1959 coins, but two dateless buffalo nickels made up for it in the very last roll. No silver or varieties, but had a lot of fun, especially the first box!

Nice hunt! Did a 2 box of nickels recently myself. Only one war nickel, a 73-S proof(unc!!!), a few semi's(or lower mintage), and a possible 2001 DDO. It looks very strange under the scope. Probably ask my coin shop about it. And a painted 42 nickel that taught me something new lol
