Excellent update my friend, great progress i love the aviary build, the bird hobby is truly alot of work but it's what i call a labor of love ❤💚💜 the birds are truly theraputic & enjoyable!! the bigger the zebrafinches are the more difficult it becomes to get them to breed same goes for the more colour morphs are in the bird. my orangebreasted always start later in the year then my english greys, so I wouldnt be to worried that they wont do anything for now i think they will lay later in the summer

Regarding having the eggs being thrown out. It might be caused by the male to mate the female again. Try to get him out once the female lays her last egg. This practice works well for canary but not too sure it will work for you.
