Lotus 7

Lotus Super 7 delivered new to LA in 1967 as a street car and stayed in California all it's life. Fully restored with many features that make it a great car on the back roads around Santa Barbara.

Very nice. A good place for Lotus 7. You can at least get the roof down a lot more than us over in Britain.

Mate...... I bought my first 7 in 1971 (I was 19) and there was a club rule that said you must not be caught with the roof up unless it is raining...... and snow doesn't count as rain......! I am now on my 30th Lotus and I've lived by that rule: I am almost 70 now. A Lotus is at it's best when it's cold outside. How weather in a Lotus isn't as much fun! You get AMAZINGLY hot!

@@fredfiggis5446 Oh I know that. Couldn't afford a real 7 so I built a Robin Hood Exmo. To the masses it is same. I can generally drive with the roof down. But it goes up when parked Too many light fingered people about. Keep your wheels turning !

2 Sevens since 1976 . The first was nicked in 1981 - the 2nd I still drive regularly ! BCNU .......
