Hi Brenda, I love your video with the Lotus Blossom, You make it look so easy. I downloaded your chart but the colors didn't come through only the words, is that how it was suppose to do? (Thanks for sharing) Irene
@QbeesQuest10 жыл бұрын
Thanks Irene!! The chart is supposed to be blank so that you can fill it in with your own ink. Printers sometimes don't do ink colors justice. However, if you would like a chart that is filled in, just email me and I would be happy to send one to you. :)

To show what I mean, if you look at your grid paper background, it is not a rectangle on the video. The corners at the bottom of the pad/screen are closer together than than the corners at the top of the screen forming a trapezoid rather than a rectangle. If you could adjust your camera until your grid paper appears as a rectangle in your videos (see Kristina Werner's videos kzbin.info/www/bejne/aauzmmSPd7ytf9k her grid is the same width at the top as at the bottom; I think of it as "square on"), it would be wonderful.

Hi Carol, I see what you mean now. I will play with tripod and camera next time I do a video and see if I can get it any better. My camera only has two zoom positions so fixing the angle may come at the cost of being further away. Maybe I need to investigate different tripods. You have given me food for thought. Thanks!

Brenda Quintana I really appreciate you looking into it and understand if equipment constraints prevent a perfect fix. I should have mentioned before that your lighting and sound quality is excellent.

Carol Melancon Hi Carol, I just spent a little time researching ideas, researching products and then seeing if I could do any quick fixes. I think I have come up with a solution that involves tilting my tripod and a bag of split peas. LOL! While it might not take away the angle 100%, I'm hoping that my next video will look better. I'll be posting a new video next week and then you can see for yourself. I want you to know that I appreciate your feedback. Have a great weekend! :)

Love your ideas and tutorials. Forgive me, however, for mentioning that I find the camera angle uncomfortable. I can see everything clearly, but the perspective makes me feel I have my chin tucked. As if I'm standing on a step-stool behind you, leaning over past your head and trying to look down and back toward my navel - gives me a psychosomatic neckache.

Hi Carol, Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry that my camera angle is troubling you. I think many of us crafters use the same angle. Is there something about mine that is worse than the others? If you can post a link to someone who you think has a better angle, I willing to check into whether it could work for my videos too. :)
