Lotus Exige 390 Final Edition - LED Headlight and License Plate Bulbs

Its time to do some upgrades to the Lotus Exige 390 Final Edition, today we are changing the headlight low/dip/driving beams to LEDs (not HIDs) to make it look like the car actually arrived in 2022 after doing some research online.
Overall I'm super happy with the upgrade and it makes the car both easier to drive at night and look brand new. Its really fresh and I can definitely recommend the upgrade, no downsides so far!
I've chosen to use Philips Ultinon Pro9000 LED bulbs as recommended by TheLotusForums thread which have a 5 year warranty: www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/hb3...
You'll need 85mm diameter cups from Ebay or similar, although I found mine were a bit loose so perhaps 83/84mm diameter cups would work better if you can find them...
And for the license plate bulbs I chose some local Narva branded ones: www.narva.com.au/products/182...

Thank you for the video, just mad the upgrade. Used Ultinon bulbs + and deeper rubber bushings. Only secured the rubber bushings with zipties

to you have to turn the bulps on both headlights in the same direction, or is the other conterclockwise? - Where have you found the information to this?

This has answered a question I've had for a while - whether LED bulbs are OK with LTSA for WOF purposes...

I've heard they pass MOT in the UK most of the time, since my car is new it doesn't need a WOF for 3 years so we'll see...I don't see how its a problem though as long as the beam pattern and level is ok

Great vid, thanks Luey. Have you got a link to the page about 90 degree change for S3s? I’ve fitted 9100 lights but it feels like the beam is pretty low.

Great video. When you turned the led lamp part did you turn it through 90 degrees so it’s pattern is right for the reflectors?

Ahh apologies the listing expired, they were 85mm diameter but I think 83/84 would fit better. They were slightly loose. I'll update the description.
