Greg, heads up, YES, everyone DOES want a water feature surrounded by a forest in their back yard. The real question is, what size of rain forest they want in their back yard. Me personally, I love the big rec pond style, lol And I will have one in the near future. Your an absolute inspiration with this channel. Love it. Xoxo

my dad would never let me. He lives in the "rich area" which would hate a pond. They have the nice luxurious real estate appraising pool. The worst part is he has this small pot that gets filled with water everytime it rains and he gets excited about the frogs that come. But the Appraisal>Life

How scalable is this? Can you make a large stream and large ponds for a city? Montreal is attempting to restore some ecosytems along old rail tracks, it seems that this would help an ecosystem return and improve with time. The site is situated next to a canal that has cotimination from years of industrial traffic, I could imagine that a filtering system and an outake to the canal could maybe improve the conditions of the water and surrouding ecosystems over time. I hope the city of montreal really invests into the restoration of the ecosystems that were destroyed. would be a pretty inspiring message, include monuments to the industrial era.

How is that these ponds don't seem to have any string algae? I have very similar setup with a bog, plenty of plants, plenty of airation, two large filters, a uv, a resonable fish load, zero ammonia, zero nitrite, two large filters but I still have tonnes of string algae! The nitrate level is low as well. What could I be doing wrong?
@seedsofnaturewatergardens6 жыл бұрын
1. Your UV could be killing off bacteria giving the string algae more resources during bloom periods. 2. These ponds might have an IonGen system which releases copper ions into the water which helps with controlling excessive algae blooms.

HERE'S AN IDEA OF WHY "EVERYONE" DOES NOT HAVE A POND, RATHER THAN A BARE BACKYARD. WE DON'T HAVE $50,000.00 OR $100,000.00 OF DISPOSABLE MONEY TO BUILD ONE, OR A SON THAT WILL BUILD ONE FOR FREE.

I don't understand why you have to drain and clean every year. If it's a balanced ecosystem I can't see how that would be beneficial.

Hi Greg, I generally like your videos, but can't stand the cheesy music covering up the sounds of the ponds and waterfalls, You have a natural setting but overpower it with things a person might hear in a rave or dark stereo room. Is this some sort of marketing technique? I find myself missing lots of your comments cause I have muted the video.
@carmenarroyo40604 жыл бұрын
I have the answer for why not everyone will not want that pond they dont have the money or credit to make one now you insists for people to have one make one for free for every people that want one that simple
