The mddsnake also has midi input to pitch :) Which means you can press keys on your keyboard to pitch the whole sequence to another scale thus giving you some harmonic progression in the sequence, instead of leaving you with only an 8/16 measure sequence :) Unfortunately only works in 1 octave, so to have it higher or lower in the register you would need to record the midi and do the hard work yourself as in this video :)

Good idea, i'll try that one out! Thanks for the comment.

The master himself commenting! Bro I know you do something similar to this with STING, how does it compare to this? Which one do you prefer? I know you did part of System change with STING (badass track by the way)!

While experimenting, I made an instrument rack with 4 divas with those receivers instead of 4 receive channels/tracks . Maybe more control with the macros on one channel than to have 4 seperate channels, also less real estate used. Love it so far!!

So good! I really enjoy the pace of your videos too...I appreciate how you swiftly move through the tutorial and cover a lot of application quickly. Leaves a lot to unpack, but we can always go back through it more thoroughly later. :)

You can do it with normal midi clips, you just need to automate the instrument rack's chain selector, but you can do that with full control, if you want, or just leave the automation loop running with arbitrary length to prevent repetitiveness quickly. I call it no hassle solution...

A more easier approach would be to group a bunch of synths on a single midi channel.and then distrubute the ranges equally or as you wish and then just move the selector using an lfo, envelope follower or just simple but teadious automation. great videos btw. thank you 🤗

Gratz on the 100th video. Works with midi files as well. While I am typing this my ableton is throwing out some amzing bassline with those 4 receivers.

I don’t understand what’s the need for the hocket send/receive thing when you can just create 4 midi channels and route the midi sequencer channel to the 4 midi channels as ableton allows you to do
@alexaguilar67899 ай бұрын
Thanks for the video seems very kool. But I tried to download the plugins and I can't download the hocket one, and also the mdd is not a .dmg... is that for mac? thanks

Bro! Awesome content ❤. Do you use Push? It would be great to see how you workflow on one. After 15 years got tired of the crashes in Logic and just moved to live and got a push 3 (not stand alone “all YT tutorials are for Stand alone workflow”) 🙄. Kind of lost..only thing I kind of did intuitively was slice samples and play on pads. Thanks in advance you rock 🎸
@lotustunesacademy9 ай бұрын
HI there, thanks! I don't use push at the moment so I can't really help you there. I'd mainly use push to play samples live into drum rack or lock it into a scale to be able to jam in some kind of melody.

All these Arpegiating & Sequencer things are for the people ho don’t know how to make music , so they need something to play instead of them , & to impress people with it, & the comic at the end is the new Muscian think that this is called making electronic Music , I see this is a music of sick people , Music is Music that has nice Melody & some Music Knowledge, I hope you don’t get upset but the new Generatikn are using these tools & think that this is making Music after some years they will discover the truth of Music , 🙏🙏🙏
