Apologies for the mic quality. OBS decided to randomly switch the mic input to my webcam. Still hope you learned something new! :)

ha! Amazing - Thanks for taking the time to put this up! Very useful! -- also that Kontakt plugin is game changer. Time to check it out. Side question: One of my fav sounds for top loops are on those tunes that almost feel like the hi-hats or shakers are made up of slices or similar texture to the clap/snare - it feels like the clap is shuffling with the groove then hits you. Keep up putting this content! Excellent work!

Another great vid! problem is when I try setting up your 'Sidechain Ducking' effect, I hear a lot of echo/feedback sounds which ruins all the different tracks I'm using. How do I stop this from happening? thanks
@lotustunesacademy Жыл бұрын
Hi Darren. Thanks! Had this issue before too. Make sure to select „no input“ as the channels input. Your mic or some other instrument might be feedbacking into your Sidechain Ducking Track. This happens because once you set an audio track to input mode (turns light blue) it will take in input from any channel. You need to tell this channel to just take in sounds that are separately routed into it ( for example your loops or any other element you want sidechained )

@@lotustunesacademy Hi, thanks for the reply. Been trying to sort this issue out but I'm totally confused as whatever I seem to press I still have audio/feedback when my Sidechain Ducking audio channel is highlighted blue (IN). What channel(s) do I need to select 'NO OUTPUT' on and has anyone else had or having this problem and if so how did you fix it? Cheers

@@darrenjames2579 Hi Darren thanks for your response! Make sure to set your sidechain ducking channel to "no input". I believe that is what is causing your microphone to be routed into the channel. You want the channel to be blue "Input channel" but only want certain tracks to be routed into it. This is why it needs to be set to "no input" in it's input section. I think I'll make a seperate video on this. Cheers.
