Sampled it blind at the liquor store. Loved the nose immediately and definitely knew no additives. I think the cherry really added a great flavor. Fantastic, but like you said, it's expensive.

You can get the Galindo 5yr XA for $139 at Old Town. I had it in my hands, but purchased other bottles that I was bringing back to give as gifts. I will skip on the Mijente, but will order the Galindo XA and Aguila Real reposado from Old Town. Both have great reviews on YT. Thanks for the review. Enjoy!

Hi Lou and Greg, I’d love to have it in my collection but for the price I’ll get two of my favorite Anejo’s. I think if they had it around a hundred they would sell them out. I myself may have bought 2-3. I love their reposado but 200 is a little ridiculous. I just bought 1146 and Azunia Black for less than that. Thanks for letting me know your thoughts. 😁

That's exactly what I mentioned in the review. You can buy two of either of those you mentioned, for about the same price, although I do see it for less than $200. I'm sure as Greg mentioned, it's the limited amount of bottles made, and it is the four barrel aging, that is bringing the price up

Yeah for $200 I love the volcan de mi tierra XA repo and bottle looks amazing on my bar I just don’t know about $200 for Anejo but I may pull the trigger one day

It has been a year since posting this vid but the price has come down to more acceptable $140. Would you recomand I pick it up at this new price Lou? Still pricey for me but I have been expanding my palate and I LOVE Mijenta in general.

Yes it's still pricey but it's really nice and unique. The way prices are these days, if this one has come down a little, then I would say if you could afford it, it would be a good one to try

Great info Lou!! But it’s way to much money for me. How would you compare mijentas anejo to.. Volans XA? There is place near me where I can get a bottle of that juice for $119. Maybe get a bottle for Christmas of Volans XA 🤔 Sulude good buddy!

Well mijenta, with the different barrels has got different layers and flavors which are fine, and you'll find that volans, like all Felipe products, is lighter in overall profile, but amazing and taste as well. I love volans XA it's extremely clean and I would definitely pick up a bottle of that if you could find it
