I'm now gushing because he played "Pearl" here. Also shocked that he said The New Folk Implosion record was terrible. There is not a bad song on it. Easily one of his best. I was lucky enough to chat to him before the gig on that album tour in the temple bar music centre Dublin. He had a solo female artist playing acoustic guitar supporting the band, also Alaska. He was really friendly and when he asked the crowd for a request I shouted for Pearl and He said "you got it" A nice moment!!

Love is stronger is probably my favorite Lou composition. I've been fascinated by his reintroduction of it into his solo sets with subtle changes. Mainly the intro moving to the outro where it really does work better. It's such a beautiful song. I'm ashamed to say that the only Tab on the internet is my version I posted when I was 18. It's only half right looking at this!
