My name is Paulinus Nsek and even though I'm Nigerian by birth, I grew up in Houston, TX. in the 1970s when, in my opinion, most of the timeless hits were sung. This particular song by Lou Rawls sends me into indescribable nostalgia and I sincerely wish I could turn back the hands of time 😢😢😢. For all the younger generations, the 1970 up to the early 1980s was indeed the best time to grow up ... May GOD bless us all ❤!

Artists of our generation sang in a clear understandable voice, the lyrics could be understood word after word, you had time to feel what they were expressing in the song, and it made you feel, joy, sadness, happiness, pain, love, and peace. Many of those artists have left this life, but have blessed us with music we can continue to listen to and be thankful for.

Lou Rawls' voice is like a perfectly aged, velvety glass of bourbon infused with a sprinkle of humor. It's a smooth operator, buttering up your ears with its richness and charm, making you feel like you're sipping on a delightful cocktail of soulful melodies. His voice could turn a frown into a cheeky grin and whisk your worries away like a mischievous breeze. So incredibly refined, it's like a mischievous jazz cat playing hide-and-seek with your heartstrings, leaving a trail of laughter and joy in its wake.

Dad was 6 foot.. mum was 5 foot plus an few inches... she was the boss though... I wish I could see them again with the big smiles... and the Kiss at the end of the dance, my dad had a great voice and Mum loved him singing and dancing in front of us kids.... those years gave us respect for ladies and we carried it on to our children

Sweet memories of 1976. I was a kid listening to music on a transistor radio under the covesr hoping my parents wouldn't catch me listening to music at 2 am. i tell my son, you guys don't fully appreciate what it felt like to hear a song you really liked come on the radio as you instinctively turned up the volume. Now, with the advent of KZbin and other music services you can play whatever song you feel like listening to. But there is something to be said about hearing a tune that had hadn't been played in a while and enjoying it until the dj came on at its conclusion.

So this song saw the light in 1976. This is 2021. 45 years later. And here I am tonight... The words of this song kept repeating itself through my mind. I put on the laptop and searched it. I'm 56 years of age and for some reason unbeknown to me the late 70's music touches my soul. This is one of the songs which take me places I can't describe. I can't help but wonder if there's more such souls out there. It's so special and so awesome that I want to be back in those times even though I was only 11 at the time and have no memories of this song. It sounds crazy I know but it pulls me and with everything inside of me I just want to go there. I feel a sadness come over me that this was and won't be again. This to me is pure magic.

You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine" is a song written by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff and performed by R&B singer Lou Rawls on his 1976 album All Things in Time. The song proved to be Rawls' breakthrough hit, reaching number 1 on both the R&B[1] and Easy Listening charts as well as number 4 on the dance chart[2] and number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100. This was the first and only time that one of Rawls' records reached Billboard's pop Top Ten. The single went on to sell over a million copies and was certified gold by the RIAA
