I was at this show. A killer version of The Blue Mask was left off the video, along with Lou's comments after "Walk on The Wild Side" where he said, "I'll never get tired of playing this song. It has paid my rent for over ten years." I was a Quine convert after the first fifteen minutes. Most underappreciated guitarist ever.

I went to see lou reed at Brixton Academy in 84', it was magic but just made me think how old im getting!!!!!!!!!!. New sensations F.......... FANTASTIC1

I met Quine once in front of Tower records in the Village. I said, "Are you Robert Quine?" and he said "yep". It just doesn't get much deeper than that...

Saw Quine playing with Matthew Sweet at the Stone Pony, Bigtop, early 90's. It was the last outside show of the year and they played (LOUD) till well after one in the morning. Quine was a freak, just incredible. One of my top three favorite shows ever.

Although Quine's distortion isn't nearly at an obnoxious level it just screams at you in a way no other punk guitarist which comes to mind has done
