But let's be real, letting someone make more music for you is in the long term more beneficial. Like imagine instead of 2 or 3 more xxx, juice world, pop smoke albums we got 10 more. It would make more money for the labels then using them when dead. Alive artists also help social media engagement which helps sell albums and build Hype. It makes no sense to want an artist dead unless they're like Michael Jackson and about to retire anyways.

The dangerous lifestyle of a rapper is what sells. Labels might hype that aspect up, since there's nothing they can do to stop the rapper. However, once the rapper dies, labels are going to try to ride the hype to make more money by releasing pre-recorded and unfinished tracks and verses. It's not like they wish death for these rappers, it's their own fault and the labels are just making something out of a sad situation. Might as well make some money for the artists' families, since they're no longer going to be in the picture to provide.
