Great job guy's we did just about the same thing on my brother's 55gasser on my brother's we made little wire stands that run down the side of the cowl so when he opens the hood he can do it by himself his is fiberglass though not as heavy but it stops it from hitting the door

Nicely done. To not scratch the fender ends against the doors the pivot point may be placed at or below the line of the rocker panel bottom. It changes the aesthetics though. Great work.

We really wanted it to look like a stock front end. I see so many cool ideas though this will be a two man opening job every time ahah cheapest way we could do it as well!😂🤘🏼🇺🇸
