With all due respect to all major league teams and their fans, there's nothing like experiencing a win at Wrigley Field. The place is electric and the fans are second to none. In my 55 years of being a Cub fan (and baseball in general) , I can personally attest to that. GO CUBBIES!

@Sub if you are against antifa and BLM Ya WGN was a big part of creating the widespread fandom. I live only ~2 hours from Wrigley so was lucky enough to get to go to games throughout my youth and my folks even let me skip school quite a bit over the years to go to some day games! Too bad the Cubs mainly sucked during those years but I was a kid and didn't really know about the standings or anything yet so I had a blast.

When Kerry Wood was a rookie I had the pleasure to see 4 or 5 of his starts. I'm on the south side and my dad always took me to the old Comisky park but around 92 I became a cubs fan & never looked back. Go Cubies 🐻

I was in the stands with my son in 2003 when Eric Karros homered in the 7th against the Yankees to thwart Roger Clemen's chance for win number 300. I've been to dozens of Cubs games and that was the loudest moment I can recall. That series was the first time the Yankees had played at Wrigley Field since the series when Ruth 'called his shot'!

Exciting! Excellent! Thank you for sharing! After the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and the 2010s the Cubbies finally got it! I've been a Cubs fan my whole life! Born and raised in Texas, people always tell me I can root for a great team here in Texas! I say, I do, I root for the ONLY team worth rooting for, THE CUBS! I love my Cubbies!

I really miss the duo of Len Kasper and Jim Deshaies. At first I didn't like Jim but after giving him a chance I really enjoyed his baseball knowledge and his humor. I'm happy that Len is pursuing his dream broadcasting for the radio. Too bad it's for the White Sox lol. But at least he's still in Chicago. Wish we could have those guys still around, Baez, Rizzo, Bryant. I do like the guys they have now.

2003 = Best Cubs season ever. It makes me emotional every time I see highlights from the games that year. I miss it so much. They came so close to the World Series. It was a miracle year. It was also the best year of my life. One day The Cubs will win the World Series. One day it will happen. I'm praying it happens sooner rather than later.
