Cool video. Little info/clarification since a lot of ppl get turned off by simply smaller numbers, the 2 S1 weapons on the arrow do more dps than a single S3 at least for now. So not nerfed at all. :)

It feels nerfed :D personally I just prefer my weapon fire rates etc to match up and I did like the look of the arrow more with the 3 size 3’s.

But keep in mind that all the weapons have the same projectile speeds and ranges. es: laser repeaters all have 1400 m/s projectile speed and 1540 m range wile lase cannons are 700m/s and 1225m and so on (the only difference is S4 and 5 that have sligtly more range).

325a was also my first pledge back in 2014! I still have it (bought a few others)...but its nice as a runabout in 3.15. I dont store any weapons or ammo on it and i can claim it from anywhere if I'm stranded. I'm glad they did away with the space wasting dual doors :)

hey great vid, as I tried to find some overview of the ingame ships with prices and money for a while now, so I appreciate it! 2 small suggestions though: it took you 3:00 min to get to SC content and 4:47 to get to the actual VID content. This will put new viewers on your channel off. and try to play with your narration voice lil more to make it more appealing and less monoton (though some people may prefer that for an informatiuon vid!)

Yeah a bit of a bummer, but the DPS from 2x S1’s isn’t actually less than that of 1x S3. The issue for me is mis matching weapons and the flight model has taken a definite hit.

this video really excellently displayed the absurdity of the pricing on almost everything in the game currently. single example of what i mean a little hoverbike cost the same as the multicrew mobile missile launcher platform.. but there are so many shops that are wildly mispriced currently.

Yeah undoubtedly needs a bit of refinement in terms of pricing. I think even more absurd though is how broken some of the relative pricing is between aUEC and $. E.g. al the cyclones cost $65 whereas an Avenger Titan is $55, but in game the Titan is 35x more.

My Titan is already pretty good at combat so I think I might go the Prospector route. But then again, I don't really mind just hiring the mining ships. @@LoudGuns omg I didn't even consider that might fit. edit So I just looked it up on erkul's new power triangle updated dps calculator and somehow the 4 gimbaled size one laser cannons on the 85x have 994 sustained dps with 100 units to power while the 2 fixed size 4 laser cannons on the talon series have 913 sustained dps with 100 power and with laser repeaters its 779 on 85x and 722 on talons. but the talon does have an extra shield and missiles so if you really want them you can spend the extra 1.3 mil on the normal talon or 1.7 mil extra for shrike.

I prefer the ROC-DS these days, sure for solo mining it is bit more tedious, but it also is a lot more stable to drive and does not bounce around like a nutter.

@@Honeycreepin yeah I did a mix, all the pricing and ships are from 3.15 but I recorded a lot of it in 3.14 (it’s taken quite a long time to get it all together and stability / frames were better). Yeah it’s interesting on the Taurus, I think if it’s cargo was more like that of the Freelancer MAX at 120 scu it could be more like2.8m- 3m. But that capacity gives it more value I think and the price is about right.

Yeah there was a wipe in 3.17.2, but they gave people who had played during 3.17.1 a million credits to get going a bit quicker

Think I got knackered and fell into a “sort of” trap using it to give myself thinking time. Re-scripted and re-recorded this evening and hopefully it’s a big improvement.
