Aaron saved Of Mice & Men. I remember how many people gave him crap when he initially joined the band, because "he's not as talented as Shayley." But he took over the clean vocals without any problems. Then Austin had to leave a few years later due to his disease, and OM&M could've broken up then and there... but once again, Aaron took over on the unclean AND clean vocals, in addition to playing bass. Not to mention, all the post-Austin albums have been VERY heavy.

The main reason Austin left was because the band wouldn't let him write what he wanted to. Him needing surgeries just put it into action. I'm not saying his surgeries wasn't a part of him leaving but he was leaving the band even if he didn't have health problems

Om&m changed a lot when Shay left, but now that Austin is gone it's just a completely diffferent band. Aaron is a great vocalist, clean and scream, but the face of the band and the dynamic is missing a bit now. I'm still gonna go to their next tour, because they are still great, just a different band if you ask me.
