Kenny is super legit, and studied Jazz Guitar and Music Business at Berkeley College of Music which is considered among the top 5-10 colleges for music worldwide. Ive listened to this now multiple times because Im obsessed with it - and every time pick up something else. So many little nods to Dilla and even Pete Rock and little nuanced sayings to his dad. The drums are incredible, and amazing artistry in arranging and little nods to the old school producers some of the techniques and samples while also making it fresh and new. I truly think this will go down as a classic. Its really beautiful. Definitely my favorite music drop in the past few years. Im 45 and also produce beats and this masterpiece is nothing short of inspiring.
