Louis Armstrong also know as Satchmo (Such a mouth) due to the fact he had big lips and on top of that he learnt to play the trumpet almost by himself when he was a teenager and without the proper technique for embouchure his lips were often damaged. He had to adapt his mouthpieces to fit precisely to his own mouth afterward. Indeed he is one of the best jazzmen in history and his playing is unique and outstanding. It is hard to pick up a best favorite since he recorded great hits during his musical career. But maybe the most iconic ones could be: "Ain't Misbehaving", "Mack the Knife", "I am in the mood for love", "Potato Head Blues", "Saint James Infirmary", "Basin Street Blues", "Stardust", "Summertime", "Coal cart blues", "Hello Dolly", "When you are smiling", "Cheek to cheek", "A kiss to build a dream on", "No body knows the trouble I have seen", "What a wonderful world". Other jazz trumpeters who were extremely talented and virtuous and had great Big Bands are Bunny Berrigan, Harry James, Ray Anthony and Billy Butterfield.

Such a beautiful insight!! Nice to read your comments about musicians we share videos about! 🎶☺️ If you would have to pick one favorite song, which song would it be? 🎶

@@classyclassical Thank you so much. About the question, do you mean a song of Louis Armstrong? If so, I would probably pick for the major tune blues "Ain't Misbehaving" and "Jack the Knife" and for the minor tone blues "Saint James Infirmary". But again, Louis Armstrong was such a magnificent musician it is quite hard to say one song is better than the others. And the same goes when refering to classical music, where every single composition is a piece of Heaven itself.
